scared?” 

Julius‘ voice cracked with emotion. “Mom, I couldn’t reach you at all. I asked Dad where you were, but he wouldn’t tell me. I was so worried, Mom. I can’t live without you!” 

Charlotte’s eyes stung with tears as her heart twisted painfully in her chest, an invisible hand seeming to squeeze it tight.

Mabel hugged her, too, her voice sweet enough to melt anyone’s heart. 

Bennett approached, surrounded by bodyguards. His expression darkened at the scene before him. 

He looked up to see Arthur walking slowly out of the villa.

Chapter 407 Don’t You Deserve Punishment? Arthur appeared to have just returned, still wearing his suit. Under the lights, his handsome features were sharply defined, his eyes seemingly full of deep emotion, though his recent actions had been progressively worsening. 

“Grandfather,” Arthur called out warmly. 

“Why are you here so late? Have you had dinner?” 

“Arthur, what have you done?” Bennett’s stern voice cut through the air. His face was grave, and his eyes, though clouded with age, still commanded respect. 

“Me?” Arthur raised an eyebrow, letting out a soft chuckle. “Nothing at all. What’s happened to get you so worked up?” 

“Hold him down!” Bennett’s face darkened further. 

The bodyguards immediately moved to restrain Arthur. 

He dodged them effortlessly. “Grandfather, resorting to corporal punishment without even a discussion? If I remember correctly, those old family disciplinary methods were abolished when I took over the Harrison Group. Are you trying to regain control?” 

“I don’t need to follow protocols to discipline my wayward grandson! Arthur, you’ve upset your grandmother to the point where she’s bedridden! Her health was already fragile. Don’t you deserve punishment? You mistreat your wife and act recklessly! Don’t you deserve to be disciplined?”
