Sebastian’s face showed a trace of self–blame. 

Charlotte looked at him, feeling a twinge of bitterness in her heart. She had never noticed before, but it seemed that every time they met or talked about her marriage, he would always show that helpless and guilty look. Back then, she never said much about it, even going as far as to comfort him instead. 

She lowered her gaze slightly and said calmly, “Sebastian, how long have you and your girlfriend been together? Every time I try to meet her, she always seems to be busy. Is it because she heard I’m Arthur’s wife and got scared?”
