Arthur typed: [Jennifer Harrison is my mother.] 

Charlotte replied: [I see. My apologies. I wasn’t aware. Are you looking to return it, or…] 

Arthur typed: [You better be unaware.]

Rolling her eyes, Charlotte tossed her phone aside and resumed her yoga practice. Just then, her other phone rang. It was Diana.

“Hey, Diana, what’s up?” Charlotte asked, stretching. 

Diana said sweetly, “I’ve connected with an editor from a second–tier magazine back home and recommended you for their next issue. Get ready. It’s showtime.”
