Chapter 104: Emergency

Jasmine's POV

“ You are not engaged with him?” He suddenly asked me as I turned around.

I looked at Paul and he showed no expression at all. I didn't answer him. I decided to go to the crowded place

“ Congratulations Bianca and Clarkson '' I heard one of the guests say.

“ Jaz” he suddenly grabbed my hand out of the crowd. What the heck is his problem? I tried to avoid him but he kept on looking at me.

“ Travis!” I removed his hand from me. His hair was messy now, and he even lost his collar.

“ I heard it right; you are not engaged with Paul”, My forehead knotted. And why does he care?

“ It's none of your business, Travis! Now get out of my way,” I told him as I was starting to get irritated.

He tried to hold my hand again but I glared at him which made him back off.

“ Jasmine,” Bianca called my name. I turned around and saw them walking near us. I immediately smiled at her and greeted her.

“ Congratulations to both of you” I smiled and she gave me a hug.

“ Thank you,” she said. When the music turned on, everyone went to their seats. Then, they requested the newlyweds dance, which caused them to go to the centre.

Someone touched my shoulder gently. My mood changed immediately when I saw who it was.

“ What do you want?’ I firmly asked him. He was about to speak when someone pushed him.

“ Can't you see? He doesn't want to talk to you, common, Trav. Just accept your defeat, “ Paul said, which caused him to close his fist while looking at him.

I felt dizzy because of them. “ Don't you dare interfere with us,” Travis said, and at any moment, he was ready to fight Paul.

“ Stop it both of you. Please!” I wanted to shout at them but I couldn't.

They were looking mad at each other when my phone rang. I answered it when I saw that the call was from Diego.

“ Is this Ms. Stewart?” A voice of a woman talks on the other line.

“ Yes, who is this?” I asked confusedly. My heart beat so fast. I didn't know, but I started to get nervous.

“Mr Diego is now in the hospital. The plane crashed. He is in a critical situation. When I heard what the Nurse said my tears began to feel. She kept on talking about what happened and the location of the hospital. I hurriedly ran through my car.

I don't care if they are calling my name. Damn it!

“ The patient is currently in the operation room, ma'am,” she said. My hands trembled while she spoke. I hurriedly went to check where the operation room was. I waited outside, and I didn't care if my hair was messy right now.

I couldn't stop but to cry thinking about what happened to him.

“ Diego please, don't leave us” I kept on crying. There's no one I could contact since their parents are already dead. While Diana is already gone.

I kept on crying on the chair while waiting for the operation to finish.

My son kept on calling me but I don't have the strength to answer it. I know he's worried about Diego but I couldn't just bring him here.

I kept on waiting for how many minutes outside the operating room while crying.

“ Please be safe Diego, please don't leave us. I don't know what to do without you. “ I kept on saying and even asking for god's help.

“ Diego please, don't leave us. Please fight. Davis is waiting for you Diego “ I kept on saying. I've been waking for an hour now.

My hair is so messy right now. Don't leave us Diego, I can't. Please fight. I kept on sobbing alone in here. I look stupid but I don't care. All I need to know is his condition.

“ We missed you, Diego. My son is waiting for you. I missed you”
