Chapter 24: Wedding Planner

Jasmine's POV

“ Honey, what do you think of this one?” I secretly rolled my eyes.

“ Be thankful, Travis told me not to change you. Or else you'll no longer work here now” She smirks and looks at me with disgust. I don't want any trouble, that's why I didn't think about it.

“ You know what? I will watch your moves, and don't you dare do something that I won't like,” she said before leaving me.

That's the first thing she said before I could step inside their house.

“ I don't know. Why don't you try to ask the wedding planner? Besides, she knows what to do.” Travis looked at me with a cold expression, but I didn't care.

“ Well, the truth is. I want to change the theme and stick to the old one.” She furrowed her eyebrows.

What's wrong with her? Is she trying to make things harder for me? I already coordinated it with my team and brought the things.

“ That's impossible, my theme is already working for that design now.” I disagreed that she crossed her arm.

She's like challenging me and I hate the way she looks at me now.

“ Well, I changed my mind. And also, about wedding gowns? I don't think I am in the mood to go to that place. That's why I'm asking you if you could bring those gowns here. “ She smirks. I close my fist. But I manage to smile.

“Of course, we can do that.” She clapped her hands and looked at Travis.

“ People will always do everything for money, won't they? Maybe that's the reason why guys always leave a girl like you. "She covered her mouth after she said that and acted like she didn't mean it.

I wanted to slap her right away but I kept on stopping myself. How could she insult me?

“ Sorry, let's just pretend that you didn't come from a poor life. But I'm surprised—you stunned out. I read so much about you,” she added, resting her head on Travis' shoulder.

“ I don't remember that my past is included in this business,” I said, chuckling, and didn't show her I was affected by her words.

“ I just want to make sure that I am talking to a real business planner” She expands that word like I'm just faking my identity.

Is she trying to question my credibility? I looked at Travis, but he was just looking at me.

“ You know what I mean, but I'm surprised too. I thought you were dead. I'm sad it was fake. I mean I’m glad that the news was fake.” She laughed but looked at me with those angry eyes.

I'm about to stand up when Travis speaks.

“ Why don't you help Yana to bring snacks here for a while” he said, Stacy was about to reject but then soon agreed.

She even glanced at me before going to the kitchen and kissing Travis on his chicks.

“ Are you hungry?” His voice changed into a calmer one.

I sigh and don't answer him.
