Jasmine's POV

After that day, Travis never showed up. While Stacy became distant from me, she's still watching me from afar. I know that. It's already eight in the evening, and everyone has already gone home. I was left on the site alone.

I'm already packing my stuff. I didn't know that I'd be having a meeting because Via didn't tell me about it. After this project, I am planning to go back abroad because I still have other business to do there.

I just wanted to leave this place. While staying here, everything is getting worse.

I went outside and put all my things in the car when suddenly I saw a shadow not far from me. I thought it was one of my staff, so out of curiosity, I slowly walked closer to it.

“ Who is there?” It's a little bit darker in this place. I walked closer, but when I arrived in that area, I saw a man smiling weirdly at me.

I've never seen him before.

“ Who are you?” I asked him, but he just laughed, then I saw A knife in his hand. My hands began to tremble and I didn't know what to do.

He slowly walked towards me and made me turn around to run through my car but I saw another man in my way.

“ Who are you?” I asked them but they didn't answer. Then suddenly, the man I was holding the knife grabbed me and placed the knife close to my throat.

“ Do not make a sound, or else,” he said as the other man was now walking towards me.

“ What do you want from me? “ I asked him with a trembling voice. He didn't answer me. I was about to shout when the man In front of me covered my mouth.

“ I just told you not to shout!” He said and slapped me. It was so hard that it made the side of my lips bleed.

“ What are we gonna do now?” The man holding the knife asked his companion while I didn't make a sound. I wanted to cry.

“ Let's bring her there,” he pointed in the dark alley. They started walking while the knife was still pointing at my neck.

While we were walking, we heard a sound like something fell in the other area.

“ Check it. I'll wait for you here. And you don't dare move or make a noise!” He firmly threatened me using his knife.

I slowly nodded because I was scared that he might stab me once I made a mistake.

The man slowly and carefully walked through that area until we didn't see him. Moments later, we heard noises like something had fallen or someone was throwing hard things.

“ Damn it! “ I heard the man beside me and started to get worried.

Then after that we never heard a noise again. And that man never came out.

“ Azcar!” He shouted, hands trembling as he called the other guy, but he never answered.

“ Fuck! “ he said and let go of me while the knife was still pointing at me.

When he looked at me, I saw Travis show up, pulling the man's hand that was already unconscious.

“ Fuck! What did you do? Azcar!” He called his name, but he was totally unconscious.
