After that, I talked to him, and I decided to leave the party. I made an excuse that they still wanted me to stay, but I really insisted that I still had a lot of things to do.

“ Ma'am Jaz, we only need days to finish this. Our team also decided that after this maybe we could go somewhere to celebrate the success of our project?” Rhian said which made me agree. I also want my team to enjoy their life even just for once.

“ Okay, we will set a date for that. But for now, we have to focus on this wedding preparation,” I told her while I was checking the papers that we had to finish by this day.

I decided to finish this today since Ryan and the others are also busy. While Rhian and I are focusing on this wedding preparation.

“ Here, I bought you food. “ He offered me, which made me rest my back on the chair. The truth is that I haven't eaten my breakfast since I really went here earlier to do these papers that I'm doing right now.

I just stared at it when my tummy started growling. I heard him chuckling, which made me glare at him. I tried to refuse the food, but I suddenly felt hungry.

That's why I have no choice but to eat the food on the table.

He's watching me but I don't care. It's just fault also why he's placing these foods on the table.

“ Wait here,” he stood up. I watched him walk out of the venue, and when he came back, he was already holding paper bags. I got curious when he placed it on the table. He started placing a box of food on the table, which caught my attention and made me even hungrier.

I didn't wait for him to offer me food and started digging for it. He chuckled when he saw my reaction. He also started eating with me. I didn't bother to ask him if he had cooked everything on this table. It's obvious that he had.

“ How is it?” He asked me and I didn't notice myself giving him a thumbs up which I often do when we're still together. I remember those days when I was still in love. He's the one cooking for the both of us and even washing the dishes. But that was the past because as years went by he started to forget that I'm still hoping for the both of us.
