Kelvin didn't show up the next day to give her a ride to school and Alisha took a taxi like she did yesterday.

As she got out of the taxi, she sadly looked at Kelvin's spot at the car park and his car was already there.

Alisha sighed heavily, pushed back the tears that were threatening to fall and walked into the school.

When Mindy saw her, she ran towards her happily and said "Good morning, girl."

"Good morning." Alisha said between her lips and walked past Mindy who instantly noticed that something was wrong. She ran after Alisha and met up with her in no time.

"What's wrong with you this morning? Are you sick or something?"

Alisha sighed heavily and shook her head before saying "I'm okay. I slept late last night."

"Okay." Mindy said before her eyes lightened up. "Kelvin is in school. I guess you didn't know."

Alisha's eyes fell and she started praying for the tears not to fall. She wasn't ready to accept that she and kelvin were over and she wasn't also ready to tell Mindy what had transpired last night. She was still hoping that if she sits Kelvin down and explain to him that he was going to understand.

She gave Mindy a weak smile. "I know. Where is he?"

"With Shane" Mindy replied and took Alisha's hand into hers.

The moment Mindy and Alisha stepped inside the class, Shane looked up and smiled at Mindy but Kelvin didn't. He acted as if Alisha didn't even exist.

"Shane, good morning. Kelvin." Alisha slowly said and awaited his response nervously.

"Good morning." he replied without saying anything else or looking up from his phone.

When Shane and Mindy noticed what was going on between them, they signalled to themselves through their eyes before Mindy spoke.

"What is going on between you guys?" She asked but before Alisha could give her a reply which was 'nothing', Kelvin had walked out of the room. Leaving a confused Shane and Mindy and a devastated Alisha behind.

"Did you guys fought?" Shane asked.

Alisha gave him a weak smile and said. "We're going to be okay. Don't worry."

"What happened between you guys?" Mindy asked for the hundredth time on that day.

"Nothing." Alisha replied.

"I'm tired of you telling me 'nothing nothing'." Mindy said furiously. "It's obvious that you guys fought. What is it about?"

"I'm not in a good mood right now, Mindy. Just leave me alone."

Mindy sighed heavily while searching Alisha's eyes for any clue to the mystery.

"Kelvin." Alisha called as they were walking towards the car park. "Can I have a moment of your time?"

Kelvin ocean blue eyes burned into her skin as he looked at her coldly. "I'm busy." he replied and dialled a number on his phone. "You there?" He said into the phone as he walked away.

Mindy ran towards her and said. "Can Shane give you a ride?"

Alisha thought about it for some seconds before shaking her head and said "No. Thank you. I'll take a taxi."

"Okay." Mindy said and gave Alisha an hug. "We're still curious about what is going on between you guys. Once you're ready to tell me, you can call me."
