Few months later.

School was over two months ago. Kelvin turned eighteen last month and today, which was a month later was his inauguration day.

Alisha and Mindy sat in front of Mindy's television with a bowl of popcorn in their hands each.They were watching Kelvin's inauguration as quiet as possible.

When it was time for Kelvin to give his speech, Alisha watched as the almighty Kelvin McSmith got out of his seat and matched to the podium with Kyle James by his side.

That was supposed to be her place. she thought. But she had fucked it up by a single mistake.

"Alisha." Mindy called sadly. "You're crying."

"Am I?" Alisha said as she touched her face and tried to wipe away the tears.

Mindy turned to her side fully "I don't know why you want us to watch this. Let's go out and you know, party instead."

"I want to watch him." Alisha insisted.

"But, it's not helping you."

"Just watching him from afar makes me happy. I just want to make sure that he is okay."

"It's obvious that he is okay. Can we now go?"

"No. It's been a long time since I last saw him. I'm not standing up from this couch until the inauguration is over."

"Alisha." Mindy called sadly.

"I know you're doing this for me but if you truly want me to be happy, let's just watch this."

"Okay."

"I miss him so much." Alisha added as tears freely flowed down her face.

Few days later

"Kelvin isn't himself" Shane said to Mindy.

Mindy sat up when she heard this and said "What do you mean?"

Shane sighed. "I don't think that what he and Kyle have is real."

"You mean their relationship?" Mindy asked shockingly.

Shane shrugged. "Yeah."

"How...how do you know?"

"Kelvin have been feeling down since he and Alisha broke up even though he is trying to act as if he is happy. It's obvious. I'm his friend. We've been together since we were in diapers. He might be lying to the world but he can't lie to me. I can see past his facade."

"But what does he being down and he being in a fake relationship have in common?" Mindy asked confusedly.

"Can't you see what I'm seeing?" Shane said unbelievably.

"I'm sorry but I can't" Mindy replied.

"I think he is trying to get back at Alisha for what she did to him."

"Wait! What!?" Mindy said with her eyebrows knitted together in shock.

"Bingo!" Shane shouted as if he just hit the jackpot.

"Okay, everything makes sense apart from what you just told me about he and Kyle being in a fake relationship. That doesn't make any sense. It's obvious that they're in a relationship. They kiss all the time, hug all the time and smile at each other every seconds they get."

"It's all an act!" Shane said enthusiastically. "He's doing all that in order to get back at Alisha. Can't you see what I'm seeing?"

"Wow. Wow" Mindy said as she sighed heavily. "If everything is true, then it means that Kelvin still love Alisha. Wow."

"Absolutely!"

"So, what are we going to do now?"

Shane gave Mindy a devilish smirk and said "I might have an idea."
