Tittany answered, “There was an emergency in the ward. Melody was busy there and asked me to come. 

jeremy paused for a moment. He lowered his eyes and said nothing. They were still in the preparation stage, and the patient had not arrived yet. 

Tiltam hesitated for a hit before she spoke again. “Do Chesson.” 

Jeremy kept his head down as he get ready. 

Tittany and Melody had started at the hospital around the same time and had always been close. She remembered how disappointed Melody seemed at noon. She couldn’t help but want to speakup focher 

She looked at jeremy and said, “Ch. Chesson, you remember Melody is allergic to mango, right? I get that you’re usually busy and might forget sometimes, but you ordered a mango cake for her birthday.” 

She lowered her voice and continued, “That might not have been a good idea.” 

She felt a bit hesitant as she said it. This was Melody’s matter, not hers still, she couldn’t help speaking up. 

The mango cake was eventually shared among the nurses. Once they learned it was a birthday cake from Jeremy, no one said anything to Melody directly, but they started whispering behind her back 

Tillamy never told Melody what they were saying because she felt bad for her.
