Zayn and Skyler were about to get engaged….

Willow had already decided to completely let go of the impractical love she had. Although Zayn had left her utterly disappointed, she still felt suffocated when she saw the engagement invitation

Before this, Willow would’ve broken down if Skyler had told her that she would be engaged to Zayn. She wouldn’t even have the strength to take the

invitation.

But now, Willow could even pretend to be unfazed when she took the invitation from Skyler. She even managed to curve her lips into a polite smile. “You’re getting engaged!” Willow smiled brightly. “Do I need to bring a gift to the engagement?” she asked.

“I suppose so.” Skyler trailed off. She hadn’t expected Willow to bring up the topic of engagement gifts so straightforwardly.

Even someone like Skyler who was used to pulling strings found herself replying to Willow somewhat stiffly.

From the very start, Zayn’s gaze had been fixed on Willow’s face.

Initially, his gaze had remained indifferent. However, his expression turned grim when he saw Willow accepting the invitation calmly with a bright smile. 

Had Willow been eagerly looking forward to his engagement with Skyler?

“An engagement gift!” Willow was still smiling. She still looked breathtaking despite the obvious scar on her forehead.

“Instead of giving a scumbag and bitch a gift, it would’ve been much better if I gave it to a dog!”

Willow tore apart the invitation in her hands little by little as her words fell. She threw it forcefully on their faces.

Skyler’s face took a direct hit. With so many people around, she still had to maintain her image despite feeling irritated.

Zayn had trampled her dignity below his feet. He declared her to be inferior to a dog.
