“I’m sorry, Zayn. I just wanted to get Lolo’s blessings. I didn’t expect her to have such a strong reaction after seeing our engagement invitation.

“Believe me, Zayn. I don’t have any other intentions. I didn’t mean to make her angry, Skyler said.

“I believe you, Skyler,” Zayn replied absentmindedly.

Skyler leaned against his shoulder after hearing his words. “You’re so good to me, Zayn.”

The commotion between Zayn, Skyler, and Willow attracted a lot of attention from the people. However, no one dared to approach to listen closely. So, none of them korw what happened between the three of them.

Instead, they just assumed that an unknown figure like Willow had offended Zayn and Skyler without knowing any better.

Honestly, the world was quite ridiculous sometimes. Willow had once been Zayn’s legitimate wife. However, everyone only saw Zayn and Skyler as a perfect match from heaven. No one knew that she was just a shameless mistress.

Wandering across the hall again, Willow felt somewhat dejected when she still couldn’t find Matthew. Perhaps he hadn’t attended the event tonight.

Just then, Willow saw the amiable waitress whom she had asked about Matthew walking over. Hurrying over, she asked, “Hello, may I know if Mr. Mayer

has arrived?”

“Yes, Mr. Mayer’s just arrived. However, he’s not in the hall-he’s upstairs in the lounge.”

The waitress pointed to the staircase nearby. “Just go up the staircase. Mr. Mayer’s at the lounge on the far northeast side.”

“Thank you!” Willow replied. She initially wanted to go upstairs to find Matthew. However, her stomach hurt too badly. On second thought, she decided to eat a few painkillers first before finding him.

In fact, taking the painkillers on an empty stomach was bad for Willow’s body. In the past, she didn’t pay much heed to it. But now, she still wanted to avenge Aaro

If Willow wanted to live for a few more days, she would have to learn to cherish her body.

So, she picked out a few snacks to eat before taking the painkillers with some water.

Skyler’s gaze had remained fixed on Willow. After seeing Willow converse with the waitress, she hurried over to their direction after parting ways with Zayn.

The waitress was flattered when Skyler took the initiative to say hello. “Hello, Ms. Dawson! I’m a fan of yours. Could I get your signature later?” she asked.

Skyler didn’t speak. Turning around, she secretly took out a small bottle from her bag before pouring the contents into the red wine on the front desk.

Picking up the glass of red wine, she swirled it lightly before placing it in the hands of the waitress.
