ALEXANDER

The party was extravagant with the heavy amount of food laid on the long table waiting for everyone to dig in. On the top corner, the DJ was playing smooth classical music while some werewolves glided to the dance floor, moving their bodies according to the rythm of the soft music playing. The smell of deliciously roasted chicken wafted through the air, waving across the wolves gathered in a nearby area. Some mouth watered as they stared at the mountain of food prepared for the celebration which was about to start in a few minutes from now. My eyes swept the whole room in observation. There was a massive bright golden chandelier that occupied half the space above the area, its shining light covered every corner of the place, showing absolutely no room for darkness for the massive crowd of different wolves, each different packs. The wolves collected themselves according to which pack they belong. The Red Silvermoon Pack stood out inevitably with my fiercest and most capable warriors I've trained for years after the last war. When other werewolves would pass by in front of them, I could clearly see them tremble in fear. They would avoid stepping within a meter from them and hurrily scurry back to their own packs, and it gives me the utmost satisfaction to know we were the strongest pack that could even stand up against an army of wolves, should war ever surface from one of the Alphas around me again. The Red Silvermoon pack settled at the front, whilst the blue mountains pack gathered at the opposite side from us. Other packs like Crenshaw Wolf, Dark moon, Silverwood, Black Shadows, Green moss, Ocean Howls, Blacktooth Guardians, and Delta Hunters Pack surrounded the place where each gathered at one spot around the corner of the hall. Not a single pack is missing from the party tonight, all to honor the Alpha who has celebrated tons of parties without a mate clutching my arms on my side. Other Alphas had been too eager for me to introduce a mate, which was undoubtedly crucial in boosting reputation as the youngest alpha amongst them. Without a Luna, my pack is still missing a part of themselves, and it would have stayed that way if I hadn't found Eleanor, who was now sitted on the chair right beside me, clutching my arm softly while she blinked at the large amount of people crowding the entire hall. I stared at her side profile for a long moment, memorizing the small, dellicate features of her innocent face while I had the chance. Her clean, dark eyebrows looked fierce on flick, looking down on her long, sweeping eyelashes as she blinked. Her light natural makeup and dark mascara made her large eyes pop, however she wore ocean blue contacts that replaced her pure blood red ones. Still, it suited her effortlessly well. No matter what color her eyes were, I bet she'd look naturally gorgeous in each one. I watched closely as Eleanor heaved in a deep breath, her small pointy nose matching her large eyes and pink, juicy plump lips that glimmered with her nude glossy lipstick. Her cheeks blushed slightly, making her look more and more like a blooming flower in a garden full of beautiful red roses. It was a pleasure looking at her beauty from this close a distance, with her flowing wavy chocolate brown hair cascading down her arched back.

'Damn.' I said to myself.

She's too gorgeous.

My wolf suddenly growled as he felt various pairs of lustful eyes tearing Eleanor's dress at this very moment.

I look around the room, darting my eyes on every unmated werewolf eyeing my sexiest, goddess-like mate.

When they each noticed my deathly glare directed towards them, they immediately ripped their shameless eyes off my most prized possession.

I smirked, returning my gaze to Eleanor.

I noticed her gulp, sweeping her eyes across the room as if in search of something.

Placing a hand on her waist, I began stroking her back softly in a bid to help her relax and lose the tension in her body.

"Is everything alright, my love?" I whisper in her ear, leaning down gently as to not cause a startle within her.

She whipped her head and looked at me, then shook her head in response.

A smile was plastered on her face.

"Yes, everything's perfectly fine."

I furrowed my brows closely. Although she appeared calm and collected in the outside, I could sense the tension building up in her body from the mate bond.

Nevertheless, I smiled back right before a small group of people marched their way across the table in front of us.

"Alexander Wade. It's good to finally see you, with an enchanting Luna by your side," I shot my eyes up at the athletic, strong-looking man who stopped at the edge of our table, smiling down at me then glancing over to my beautiful mate. A tall, blonde woman stood by his side, their arms locked in each other leaving not much of a room for personal space.

I stood to my feet and Eleanor rose from her chair right after.

"Arragon." I shook his hand before he reached over to grab Eleanor's. I felt my eyes widen slightly and my wolf growled the very moment his hand grazed my mate's skin, igniting a raging fire deep within me as my own possessiveness began to surface.
