Ryn's pov
I turned my head sideways so I can get a better view of Ace, who was still standing near the door watching me. My jaw ticked in irritation at his blatant lustful gaze.
A heated trail was left where his eyes rested and I clenched my thighs together in hopes of stopping the tingling feeling that was present in between my legs. Stop it Ryn this isn't right, he's a criminal remember?
My conscience brought me back to reality. For a moment there I was contemplating to give into my feelings. It was true I was sadly sexually attracted to the brute and hopefully it doesn't develop to something more than what I bargained for. I needed to stop these unwanted feelings before it's too late.
My face turned sour as I scowled at Ace. He was now trailing his eyes to my butt and no matter how in the moment it did wicked things to my body I needed to stop. These feelings were new to me, I had never gotten to second base before and I wouldn't allow myself to with this criminal. One that I don't trust with my life.
"Get out!" I yelled, finally finding my voice. It came out a little bit husky for my liking but it did do the trick in getting Ace's attention. His eyes slowly traveled to mine and a slight smirk grew onto his face.
"My bad, I didn't know you were naked in there." He lied smoothly.
I glower at his unashamed face and refrained from getting out of the shower to pummel his gorgeous face. But being completely naked wouldn't allow that.
"Don't even pretend like you didn't hear the water running, now get out!" I roared as I now became more flushed at him still being there staring at my body.
A low chuckle came from Ace and he turned around, not even bothering to defend himself. It would be useless to, when just by looking at his face you would be able to tell he was lying.
"Nice butterfly tattoo bellissima." He spoke before closing the bathroom door softly after his retreating form.
I let out a groan when his words settled in. What a perverted asshole. I unblocked my breast and brought one of my hands to touch the butterfly tattoo that was placed on my tailbone.
It was a ulysses butterfly and it was my mom's favorite animal. She always drew them and decorated my room with the beautiful images until they also became my favorite. I smiled at her memory until it quickly was replaced by sorrow, knowing that I wouldn't see her draw them anymore.
The date of birth of my father was just below the butterfly and I let out a sigh of sadness at the thought of losing both of my parents. Closing the pipe I opened the glass door and reached out to grab my towel. After wrapping it around my frame I sauntered to my bedroom.
I looked around the room to make sure that Ace wasn't there and when I found it completely empty I walked to the bedroom door to lock it.
The ringing of my phone grabbed my attention and I quickly walked towards it to answer the caller. Nate's voice rang into the phone.
"Hey, I'm already at the station, where are you?" He asked.
"I'm still home, just getting ready, had a little ah accident earlier." I replied thanking the heavens that he didn't pass by today. God knows his reaction to finding Ace in my house, a guy I supposedly despise.
