I really thought that I might've seen Harry when we got inside here but I think I'm just hallucinating. I would be worried if he caught me going out with Louis but then... Why would that make me worry? Harry has nothing to do with me and Louis.
I chuckle before taking a drink from my wine. "I bet that was the worst experience you could've ever been to."
Louis laughs. "Yes. It was one of the worst I could say. That was like, four or five years ago."
I smile as I take a bite from my sushi.
"Man, the fans are really amazing and crazy from every country we go to. Even until now, they would walk up to us when they see us on the street and ask for a picture." Louis adds.
"It's cos you've influenced the young kids back in the day. You were great role models that's why they look up to you and the boys." I answered.
He nods. "Those were the days. And I remember, this incident, I think we were in Dublin. There was a crazy fan who stole my favorite Ramones shirt while I was taking a dip in the pool."
My eyes widened. "No way?"
He nods while taking a sip from his glass.
"She stole it knowing the fact that you were there at the same place?" I asked in disbelief.
He nods again. "It was already a bit late and dark. I thought no one was going to swim already. But I guess I was terribly wrong."
I chuckle.
"Worst part of it is, the following morning I saw her wearing my shirt walking around the hotel lobby and she caught me staring at her."
"Oh my god!"
"She was embarrassed as hell I think cos she ran away like the popos were chasing her."
I laughed. "If I was that woman I would terribly feel guilty and embarrassed and sick to my stomach. I swear."
He smiles.
"But, I was really curious and I'm still even wondering until now, what could've been the real reason why One Direction split up?" I asked.
He looks at intently and his smile fades.
"You guys said you'll be here as long as the fans are here." I speak softly.
"We still are." I added.
He slightly smiled at me with his lips pressed together.
"There was a deeper reason why we split up." He speaks.
I take a grip from my chopsticks. I knew it.
"But we aren't really allowed to say it to anybody aside from the management." He added. "And it's been years since One Direction is over."
"That's why I think you're already allowed to say it now that it's been years had pass by."
He looks at me.
"Sorry. I'm just really curious. I can't help it." I say. "I didn't believe when you said out that you're breaking up cos boybands don't last and that you've eventually grown tired of doing your routine everyday." I continued.
"You loved your fans. You loved writing and making music. You loved what you were doing but why did the band break up? You know, I still... Wonder why." I added.
He exhales.
"Sorry." I blurted. "Am I annoying you? Sorry."
He chuckles inwardly. "You weren't. I think you're right."
My brows creasing.
"I think I can finally talk about it to some people other than anyone aside from the management."he says.
Oh gosh is he going to tell me? I take a deep breath in and exhaled.
"Back in the day, Audrey was my girlfriend." Louis says out.
My jaws dropped. What? Did I hear that right? Audrey Chamberlain? The same Audrey that Harry's going to marry? Holy shit ass no way in hell that happened! No fucking way!
But why is he talking about Audrey?
"Audrey? Chamberlain?" I asked.
He nods. "Nobody knew from outside of the management about our relationship cos it was best to keep it low."
I just can't believe it. Audrey became Louis' girlfriend and there was not a single news that came out about them. They were never known that they were dating. There was never an issue about them. I would see pictures of them together back in the day but they were always in groups.
"I wanted it to be a secret relationship to the public cos you know how the fans would be when they know we're dating someone. You know how the fans would totally loathe our significant others, so we tried to hang out with a couple of close friends every time we date. I was protecting her." He adds.
"Audrey wasn't a supermodel yet when we dated. She did little projects but not major ones like she has now. I loved her, I did. Audrey had always been a dreamer. She dreams big. We'd always fight about us being a secret to the public and how she constantly tell me that she's tired of it. She's tired of hiding me from everyone. She's tired of always going out in fours or fives just to be with me. She broke up with me the day before our anniversary with that said reason. That she's tired of me."
I didn't know I was ready to hear such things coming from Louis.
"A week after that she was already papped walking on the streets of London with Harry. How ironic isn't it?" He laughs humorlessly.
Oh my god. She's such a bitch. I just couldn't believe of what I heard. I didn't know such thing happened to them. I didn't know about this. Did Harry even knew they were together? I bet not a single directioner knew about this. This didn't come out before.
"I thought it was a publicity stunt for her career, but it wasn't. I thought she was getting back at me by using Harry. But no, they were actually going out. They've been secretly going out behind my back. I was so mad at Harry cos he knew about me and Audrey. I was so mad at him that I almost punched him in the face a couple of times if the boys didn't stop me."
My hands covered my mouth.
"He knew I loved Audrey and he knew I was hurt when she left. But I didn't know he was also secretly liking her when Audrey was still mine."
My jaws dropped.
"Harry forgot the bro code. Bros before hoes." Louis laughs humorlessly.
"Audrey was then offered by Victoria's Secret to become an angel and to model for them. Since she started dating Harry, she's been getting even more famous and wealthy. And she loved it. She loved the fame that she got when she went public with Harry."
I shake my head and Louis looks at me. Harry couldn't do that. He wouldn't choose Audrey over his friendship with Louis. He couldn't. He just couldn't do that. I know how such a nice of a man Harry is and I hope Louis was lying. But then when I look at him I know he's damn serious.
"Now you're asking why One Direction split up?" He asks.
I nod.
"During concerts after Harry and Audrey went to public, backstage the boys would try to calm me down every time I talk with Harry. I'm always yelling at him. I'm always mad at him. I'm always pointing fingers at him that it was because of him why me and Audrey broke up. But on stage we have to act like we're friends, that everything was okay. It was so hard for me."
