THIRTY
H A R R Y
I stand along the sliding door of my balcony while Audrey was sleeping soundly inside my bedroom. I watch as the raindrops fall onto the ground then I remembered Miranda and Ben being here. And how build up tent made of sheets. I smile at the thought of it.
That night was filled with fun. So much fun. A night where I totally forgot that I was a busy man with so many work left undone back in England. I even forgot that I had a fight with Audrey that time. That night was a night where I was being myself.
Then I remembered how Louis and Miranda entered 15 East a while ago. I remembered how she runs around the entire field and played football with Louis. I remembered how she smiled, how she laughed and how that twinkle in her eyes glimmered that she never even showed to me. I remembered how happy they would be if they were together and it totally hit me like a bullet. That this isn't good for me.
I followed them after driving Audrey back here in this hotel. I followed them and Miranda even saw me. I know she saw me. I know she saw my car. I know she knows I've been following her around the city while she was with Louis the entire time.
But Miranda looked so happy being with him and she was enjoying when they were ordering their foods or they were playing far the field under the rain. She looked like she's really interested on Louis. I'm thankful Louis helped her when that incident happened and I thought they weren't going to hang out after, but they actually did. And Louis was smiling again, a smile that I've never seen before so many years. He looked so happy being with Miranda.
He had the same smile when I saw him when he was with Audrey before. And that smile scares me.
Why?
That means Louis must really like Miranda after he helped her. He must be really interested on her.
Well, I can't blame Lou, she is damn pretty and her bubbly personality makes her even more beautiful. Miranda doesn't even have to try to be beautiful cos she already is and I can't blame Louis for asking her out. I would date her if I can.
Gosh Louis said they were dating.
Something inside of me hated it when I saw her with Louis. I know what Louis has been doing lately and he's just been fucking women around for his own pleasure and I'm scared for Miranda. I don't want her to end up like Louis' fuck girls. She doesn't deserve to be treated that way.
I know what happened to me and Louis in the past was something not worth remembering right now but time after time I still remember how I lied behind his back to be with Audrey. As I look at it now, sometimes I wish I didn't like Audrey. Sometimes I wish I shouldn't have chosen Audrey over my friendship with Louis. If it wasn't because of me, One Direction could still be doing what we usually do.
It just hurts me to see my fiancée change. Audrey changed as she has gotten more famous than before. Fame got stuck up in her head and she thinks she's always important.
I sigh as I gaze at my phone, I'm heading back to England tomorrow with Audrey and I want to warn Miranda about Louis but I wouldn't want to look like a bad guy again. I've done much things against Louis and I think this is out of my hand.
But I wouldn't want Miranda to be played around and I know Louis can be charmer to women by joking around, but I still worry for her.
"Honey?"
I gaze at my back and saw a naked Audrey walking closer to me. She hugs me from behind while she inserted her hands inside my boxers and rubs my soft dick. She kisses my neck, "Why are you here?" She asked.
"I couldn't sleep." I say.
She rested her chin over my shoulder, "Why? Something is bugging you?"
"Work. I'll be back to work tomorrow and I have so many things left undone." I lied.
"You always finish it on time." She kisses my cheek.
She grabs my hand and made me face her, "Come here."
"Where?"
"With me. Come here."
Audrey pulls me and I was walking with her. We headed to the living room. She pushes me down to sit on top of the couch and she stands in between my thighs.
"Let me get you relaxed." She says.
Suddenly she knelt down before me and started pulling my boxers. I let her do what she wants to do to me and I just sat there while she takes a handful of my cock.
I groan. "Audrey... Aren't you tired?"
She shakes her head. "No."
She strokes even faster.
"You like that honey?" She asked.
"Yes. Don't stop." I say as I rest my head back on the couch.
Finally I feel her mouth sucking my head and I moaned as she goes deeper. I moved my head back to her and she was sucking me faster, harder and deeper. She looks up to me like a those little porn stars online. She was gagging as she takes it all in but she doesn't stop.
"Ffffuck." I grasped her hair and pushed her down deeper.
She gags again and I see tears in her eyes. She pulls herself away and started sucking my balls then licks my dick like a Popsicle.
She stares at me, "Just sit there and let me ride you."
Audrey stands while I help her get on top of me. She slowly inserts my dick inside of her but she's still not moving.
"I'll make you cum. Don't move." She warns.
That was fucking sexy.
I nodded.
She begins to move up and down continuously. She doesn't stop and once she gets faster, she holds on to the couch while I pulled my head up to the ceiling. I closed my eyes as I hear Audrey's moan but it was so weird cos I was imagining that I was fucking Rose. I was imagining that she was the one riding me.
I don't get it why but I still kept on thinking about her. I keep on thinking about her even though I haven't seen her for years.
"Rose.." I mentally call out her name.
•••••
I fixed my hair while Audrey was out to grab something for her to eat. She was ready to leave for England hours from now but I don't want to leave just yet. Not until I fix everything with Miranda. I just can't leave like this while she's still mad at me. And I can't do anything to make things okay cos she doesn't want to talk to me. She doesn't want me to reach her.
I grabbed my phone and searched for Miranda's name. I stare at it and was thinking about trying to give her a call but then I know she wont pick it up.
I sat back down on my bed and thought about texting Miranda. I kept thinking that I should message her but after a short while, I finally stood up and left my penthouse. I got inside my car and began driving to Alfonso's.
If she won't text me back, then I'm going to see her personally even if it means she won't talk to me.
I wanna see her before I leave New York.
When I arrived at Alfonso's, I quickly looked around. I scanned through the waitresses and waiters that were looking at me but I couldn't find Miranda.
"Where is she?" I murmured.
"Mr. Styles."
I spin myself around and saw a fatty woman coming up to me. I remember her, she was the one who came up to first when I came here alone. I smiled.
"Hi." She greets. "It's nice to see you around. Table for two?"
I shake my head right away, "I need to find Miranda. Where is she?"
Fatty waitress looks like she's disappointed. "Oh." Her face falls. "You came to look for her again. She's at the staff's lounge."
"And where is that around here?" I asked.
She takes a deep breath in. "I used to idolize you." She says so softly while her eyes glued on the floor.
Her eyes moved back at me, "But you make me regret it now."
She wipes her tears.
"So tell me Harry.." She trails off. "What are you really doing here? Were you here to apologize to me then tell it to my face that I misinterpreted the things you did? Cos I know what I felt when I was with you and I know you felt it too when we were together. Why is it so hard for you to admit?"
I take a deep breath. "Admit what? That we had something? Are you insane? I'm about to get married if you're forgetting."
She shakes her head. "You're so proud about your marriage with Audrey but I even wonder if you're really happy with her. What are the other things that you're here for then?" She narrates.
"I just..." I muffled.
I exhale heavily and I can't find the words I needed to say to her.
"I wanna tell you that I hope when I come back here in New York someday we're still gonna be friends." I continued.
We stared at each other and the room was insanely quiet. Her tears were still falling but she would wipe it right away and I feel so bad for making her cry.
"I wish you and Audrey the best of luck in your wedding." She says.
We both got quiet again.
"Did you fall in love with me? That's why you're this mad?" I asked.
She didn't answer and just stared at me.
"I guess we all fall in love with the wrong people." She says.
I didn't answer her and just looked at how her tears that were building up behind her eyes.
"And I think unfortunately you were one of them." She adds.
She begins to leave me alone. As she stands by the doorway, "Miranda."
She halted but she didn't face me.
"Why Louis?" I asked.
"Because he's a better man than you Harry. He doesn't abandon us like what you did. He's funny and Ben adores him. He loves Ben." She answers.
Miranda gazes at me over her right shoulder. "Why did you follow us? That was your car that night. It was you who drove it. I saw you. And hell, you even saw me staring at you. Why were you following me and Louis?"
I exhale.
"Because I know that's the only thing I'm left to do..." I muffled.
Her eyes glued at me.
"Watching you from a far distant while you're enjoying your time being with Louis." I added.
The entire room went quiet.
"Stay away from me Harry." She spat.
She takes a deep breath in and starts to walk out of the door, a huge part of me is broken after she said those words, for some reason that I know.
