"What would you do?" Aaron asks me.
"What?" I ask being pulled out of my thoughts.
"If someone you were just hooking up with told you they loved you." I felt Ian stiffen beneath me. Talking about love was clearly making him feel uncomfortable.
"It depends on whether or not I have the same feelings they do. If I do then I'd be really happy they feel the same way but if I don't then I would let them down easy, I wouldn't just shut the door in his face. That's mean, you guys."
"So you're saying you would want to know either way right?" Aaron asks.
"Yes, of course I'd want to know." Aaron gives Ian a weird look and Ian doesn't say anything. He's remained silent this entire time, even when Tim and Aaron were laughing Ian didn't. I look at Ian. He's got a strange look on his face. I feel like I'm missing something. "What?"
He shrugs but doesn't say anything. "So you would definitely want to know if someone is in love with you right? You would just want them to tell you instead of being a scared little pussy?" Aaron says.
My heart drops. Crap, do they know? How could they? I only told Jess and it's not like I'm that obvious. Unless Jess told someone! I'll kill her! "Yeah. I'd want to know." I say trying to sound calm but my heart was beating out of my chest. They know! They have to know. Why else would Aaron be asking me? Is that what Ian was talking about? He was asking me if Aaron said anything to me, is that what he was talking about?
"You hear that, McAllister? She'd want to know." Aaron said shooting Ian another weird look.
"Yeah, I heard her." Ian says sounding annoyed.
Does he know? No, if Ian knew he would say something to me about it. Wouldn't he? He definitely wouldn't still be sleeping with me if he doesn't feel the same way, he would do what they all do which is start ignoring me and pretending nothing happened between us. That's how Tim will do that poor girl too. It's what they all do when their hook ups fall in love with them then that girl becomes nothing more than a joke to them. There's no way Ian knows or I wouldn't be here sitting on his lap right now. I try to reassure myself of that but there is still a nagging feeling that maybe he does know. Maybe Jess let it slip to someone or maybe I'm just too obvious.
"Well that got weird." Tim says handing Aaron the remote.
"Yeah, well, I always make things weird." Aaron says.
Tim stands up. "I'm going to bed. Hanging around with you girls made me sleepy."
"Hey!" I said offended. I throw an empty soda bottle at him and it misses him completely.
They all three burst into laughter. "What was that?" Tim says doubling over with laughter. "I'm over here not all the way over there." He says pointing to the bottle by the table.
"That's just sad." Aaron says. "Dude, I'd be embarrassed, you being the star pitcher and your girl can't even throw a bottle! You need to give her lessons or something."
Ian taps me on my bottom. "Looks like it's time for a lesson. Come on."
"What?"
He stands and throws me over his shoulder. "I'll take care of that right now, can't have you embarrassing me." He carries me up the stairs to his bedroom and kicks the door shut.
"So you're going to teach me how to throw a ball in here?" I ask grinning from ear to ear.
"No, I'm going to cuddle with you until we fall asleep and then after my game tomorrow I'm going to teach you how to throw."
"Is that so?" I ask with a grin.
He spanks me playfully. "Yes, ma'am. Can't have you embarrassing me in front of my boys." He unbuttons my shorts leaving me in nothing but a thong and my camisole and gives me
a quick kiss before removing his shirt and jeans.
I laugh.
"What? I am." He kisses me and roughly pulls me to him. "Are you saying I'm not?" He challenges.
"Me?" I ask. "No, never."
He kisses me long and hard and I wrap my arms around his neck kissing him back. He's so much taller than me I have to lean my neck all the way back. "You're pretty amazing too." He tells me.
"I am?"
"Mmmhmm, I can think of several things you're amazing at."
I grin at that. "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, I can show you better than tell you though."
I kiss him long and hard before taking his bottom lip into my mouth and gently sucking on it. He groans. "And that is one of them."
"I'm a good kisser huh?"
"No, you're an amazing kisser." He says before trailing kisses down my neck. "Want to get out of here?" He asks hoarsely.
"I thought you'd never ask."
