Cameron: Think of the money Bel, all those wonderful things be bought you at the expensive store.
Belle: Tik tok says his love language is gifting.
Sloane: Screw this! I know Reece will be on my side once she reads these texts.
Belle: Reece is dealing with her OCD. Let her be.
Reece: First of all,... I do not have OCD. I'm just a Virgo
Cameron: Okay! I'm done! You're all gonna start saying I'm an Asparagus again.
Sloane: Leave like the Aquarius you are.
Cameron: I just don't get why they'd put the most watery name as an air sign. That's ridiculous.
Belle: Well... if I was making the charts back then I'd set things right.
Cameron: Good for you Belle. Good for you...
Reece: So, we're just gonna drop the whole guy jig?
Sloane: Tell, Belle Myers. That she cannot trust a guy after seeing him for two weeks.
Cameron: Do not listen to her Bel, you're doing fine girl.
Reece: Cam, you're being a bad friend. So, am I because that boy? Got me backstage passes to that concert I wanted to go to.
Sloane: Tf Reece, you're supposed to be on my side.
Reece: I'm going to bed.
Bel: Sweet Dreams
Cameron: I hope the bed bugs bite a little.
Sloane: I will kill you tomorrow morning Reece.
Reece: You'd be doing me a favour.
I closed my phone and tossed it to the side and said a little pray and went to bed. Tomorrow is the first day of high school. My friends and I will be seniors, I'm excited to get finished with school but I'm not ready for the insane workload.
"Do you think these earrings will go with that outfit?" I heard a familiar tone wake me up, I tried to open my eyes, but everything was so bright.
"No, how about no earrings, just a couple of rings and a cute necklace?" Another person suggests.
I pull myself off the bed. My head feels like it's being pulled down and I groan in pain and frustration.
"An athlete needs to eat L." He tells her and starts slurping on his drink. First day was always both fun and exciting. You wouldn't know whether you'll get any new students or not. I'm just glad that there isn't a lot of drama at our school. Everyone is nice. Or at least faking it.
"I'm kinda bummed that we're not taking the same classes." Belle complains from the front seat.
"Well, at least we've got English lit, Accounting and Math." I try to lift her spirits. I look over to Sloane with an encouraging smile, but she's got her head buried in her phone. Scrolling through tik tok.
"It's not the same... those classes are mandatory." Belle whines even more. I pinch Sloane's ear and she winces in pain.
"That will rot you brain L, you know that." I tell her off and she just shuts her phone and throws it in her bag.
"Ladies... Welcome back to Old Oak High school." Cameron announces the second he drives through our school gate. He parks his car close to his soccer idiots and they're all screaming or jeering or dying I don't know. They sound like dying whales.
"Rivers! You didn't come to my party last week, my little John missed you. Maybe we can meet in the locker rooms a little later." One of the guys in the soccer team named Brick never fails to hit on me. I roll my eyes and shut the door angrily.
"Fat chance Brick..." I deadpan, making my way to school. Sloane grabs my arm and whispers something in my ear.
"A woman carries her child nine months in the womb and decides to name him brick?" She snickers and I cackle.
"Cameron, Rivers and Richardson are making fun of my name again." The asshat bitches.
"Well maybe your name shouldn't be Brick." He jokes and everyone laughs. Belle is wrapped around one of the guys on the soccer team. So, Sloane and I are the only ones actually going to get ready for class.
