"Shit my locker is upstairs!" I exclaim when I look up my locker number on the school website.
"That sucks. It okay. Looks like I'm right..." Sloane says taking a few paces forward. "Here." She opens her locker and I rush up the stairs to mine. I walk up the stairs as fast as I could because class is in 5 minutes. I bump into something really hard, and I almost fall but he catches me.
I see a guy, right around my age with get black hair and blue eyes. A little scar on his right eyebrows. His got a nice set of lips, strong jaw and looks at me a little disappointed. I can tell he's packing guns under his brown leather jacket cause, I clung on so that wouldn't fall.
"It's not you..." He says looking at me intently. And I get confused. I compose myself and look at him weirdly, he just stares. "I'm sorry for being awkward. Forget what I said. I'm Walter, I'm new here." He says in an extremely hot British accent. His eyes tearing through my soul.
"Well, you're going to be a thirst trap." I blurt out and he creases his brows, ah shit. "My name is Reece... Fuck! I've got class in 2 minutes I'll catch you later!"
I sprint to my locker, grab my books as quickly as possible and run back down the stairs to wards my class. The halls are empty, and I keep cursing. I get to my class and knock on the door. A young man around his twenties with red hair and hazel eyes, opens the door for me.
"I'm sorry! I was getting my stuff upstairs. It won't happen again." I blurt out and the teacher smiles and says "It's okay. There's a seat right there." I walk into class and my seat is right in front of the new guy. This will be fun.
"You're not going to let him, get away with this are you?" My darling brother says to my father, and I roll my eyes. I would join in their friendly banter but I'm still going to do it. They both know that this isn't going to stop me.
"If the boy says he wants to go to high school with everyone else then let him. Why can you not understand him?" My father tries to make my older brother understand. He's just bitter that he was the experimental child my father is just letting me do things that he couldn't do when he was my age.
"How is High School supposed to help him with running a kingdom?" He crosses his arms and walks over to the seat near the throne, where my father sat peacefully sipping his whiskey.
"That is why you're here. When you're King, soon enough you'll take control of everything and won't have to worry about your raging brother." My father reasons and I take all offense.
"You are aware that I am right here, right?" I say and my older brother rolls his eyes at me. He lets out an exhausted sign.
There are a lot of students here and I can tell that a few people were staring at me. I make my way to the principal's office to receive rule books and whatever else is important. I walk into the administration and see a lovely lady at the reception. She looks at me with wide eyes and I smile at her.
"Is the principal in his office?" I asked and she just gapes at me.
"Y-you mus-st be Walter..." She says in a sheepish tone, and I find her stutter adorable. People always seem to do that when I talk to them. She clears her throat and smiles at me. "I'll ring you in." She says and I nod my head. She signals for me to enter the room and I open the door and see Christopher with the principal.
"How is my favourite royal?" Chris says and I just chuckle at his question. I look over to the principal and back at Chris. Does he know we're werewolves? I mind-link Chris. Yes. He answers and I'm sucked back into the conversation in the room
This man threw a tone of books on his table and starts explaining all the important things I need to know. I should be concentrating but I'm hit by the most intoxicating scent in the world, and I immediately know it's my mate. I didn't hear anything that the principal was saying, and I just wanted to find the source of this scent.
