|| AZRAEL DE LUCA'S POV ||
Another lie! Another attempt to strip me down from my position!
Did these people think that I was so naive to believe in their lies?
That girl was choking on her breath. She dared to lie, looking straight into my eyes. She deserved death but not before telling that who sent her for me. She coughed vigorously, stammered her words out shakily,
" I..I.. didn't..lie..."
I groped her chin hard. She flinched in pain, eyes gathering tears in fear. I shouted at her face, asking for a damn answer,
" Tell me the fucking truth! You said that you had C-section? Where's the scar? Where's the scar, bitch?"
Her eyes went wide, realizing that she had fucked up with her own plans of lying. She pressed her lips tightly without giving me any answer. Something dangerous gleamed from her eyes. I knew at that exact moment, she was someone from my rivals or else none of this fucking bastards had the powers to look into my eyes.
Out of nowhere, she stretched her arms out to grab the gun from my waist. Thanks to my hard training, I dodged it swiftly, and turned her back in a whip with her hairs. Right at that moment, my eyes zoomed at the traditional tattoo that all members carry in each gang. This woman had a tattoo of broken wings that made my blood boil in rage.
Yanked hard by her hair, I growled to let my men know,
" Fucking Hell Mateo! She is from Russian Bravta. How the fuck they know about this?"
Italian Mafia members had tattoos of lion heads. The same goes for Russian Bravta who used bird's tattoo with broken wings. The girl's face paled in no time. Before I could use more harsh treatment on her, she pulled out another gun from her own waist.
Then..BAM....
She shot straight into her head, blood spurting out of her skill. My face hardened in defeat. She came all prepared from the beginning. Now that the news had slipped past the Russian Bravta, my position was at risk. My current team was no longer a secret place.
Muttering some curses underneath my breath, I whipped my head back to go over to Matteo. I grabbed him by his head until his face was close to me. My voice sounded husky when I slammed those words on his face,
" I have a fucking mole in my team, Matteo. Find out right now who has leaked this information to Russian before I empty these bullets inside your head."
Matteo nodded his rapidly. He knew that I was already showing him enough patience over this matter. At times, I learnt that it was no gain to kill my own people but of course, disloyal ones will burn in hell, a hell made by me.
Moving away from the woman's corpse, I intended to call my people in Italy but then, my guard who was guarding Kiera entered the room. He muttered with difficulties, making my blood boil for the second time,
" Luca..Miss...Miss Kiera..she insisted on going away..We had no choice but to let her go.."

City Hospital,
|| Kiera Stevens's POV ||
I stumbled all my way inside the hospital. Many eyes watched me, walking into the hallway but I couldn't care anything. It was already hard to get rid off those guards. The fact that Luca didn't give them any order to keep me there, they let go of me after minutes of wailing.
Noises from nurses, stretchers being dragged away barely registered in my ears. My eyes were looking everywhere for my father. I barely could register the reality. Thankfully, Molly showed up in distance. I wasted no time in running to her despite the painful ankles. I sprained my ankle when that fucker decided to chase me.
" Molly...my father..What happened to him?", I spoke breathlessly. I was thankful to Luca's driver for driving me off here because I was not in a sober state of mind. Silent tears kept shedding from my eyes. After my mother died, I had only my father as my own. I didn't even know what I would do without him alone.
