I stared at the tattooed man,a a few feet away from my standing spot.

Azrael De Luca!

It was a new name in the business world but was succeeded to leave a deep impression on everyone. One thing, everyone knew about him that he was gossily rich.

The man named Azrael sat across, crossing his legs together. His one hand gripping the red wine had multiple tattoos, crafted from his fingers and disappeared under the long sleeve of his Armani suit. My eyes switched to his next hand, spotting different remarks of tattoos, wondering how long they had on his body. It was very unusual as a business man. My dad used to lecture me that only goons had such dangerous tattoos. But I bet, he wasn't that sort of guy. Security was tight in this city and such a mafia business was a fairytale to us.

I bit my lips tightly to observe his features. His grey hairs had mysterious gleams like no other else in this room. Even his dark black hairs were perfectly settled, glistening through the semi darkeness. He was insanely handsome. I bet that if he wasn't into business, he would have made it into a big model. The man next to him was trying to make a formal conversation but he appeared nonchalant, sipping from his own wine absentmindedly.

My eyes followed his throat movement, so sensual and magical that I had to force myself to look away from him. To my surprise, our eyes connected accidentally and nearly, I tripped on my pace under his dark hypnotizing eyes.

What was fucking wrong with me? He was just a guy!

Despite my shaky nerves, I refocused at him again, finding his eyes on me. My breath faded from the intimidation, he passed from his grey eyes. I could certainly tell that his eyes were like a falcon gaze, pinning me with a desire to be hunted by him. The awkwardness continued and I wrung my arms together to avoid his obvious eyes on me.

" Excuse me!", I gestured at one of the staff, trotting over to fetch another drink as an excuse to divert his attention from me. But no matter where I went, my subconscious mind told me that a pair of eyes were following me everywhere.

Gulping one hard sip, I sneaked a side glance from the man on the couch. I froze, watching him again as the way, he didn't tear his eyes from me. I licked my lips dry and went on the other side. Something scared me about his eyes.

Picking the hem of my dress, I rushed to disappear in a dark corner to avoid his dark, haunted eyes.

Gosh! Why was he freaking me out?

' Kiera Stevens '

I remembered the name barely. Last time, it was one of my man who showed me her picture for one of our brand's photoshoots. Later, she turned down the offer, claiming that our company didn't had solid background. She was too suspicious over our identity.

Fuck! A woman with a sharp mouth!

That's when, I also learnt that she was a witty woman. But today, she managed to capture my sole attention especially the way, she tried to hide her irritation towards this party. Same like me who didn't like gathering like this.

I watched her, amazed at how she tried to hide her existence from me.

Poor girl! She didn't know that a devil like me never misses its prey.

I even forgot when it was the last time, I was interested in women. Well, it wasn't like I fell in love. All, we had the permission to fuck around as much as we wished but the wife position should belong to someone from the mafia world. We always followed our bro code.

She hid into a corner, doing her best to hide from me. I smirked at her little sneaky game and reached for the next glass, gulping them in one single shot.

Let's play the game!

From the corner of my eyes, I saw a bald man, approaching her slowly. She gave him her radiant smile, taking my breath away for the second time in this party.

What a breathtaking beauty she was!
