My steps paused in an unexpected shock, staring mutely at his bearded face until some distant road lights flashed across his face. The man was above 50 years old, almost catching my father's age. If my consciousness was caught right, he runs some company in the town. But there was something different, coming from his eyes. It was mysterious, lustful something like that. Although my instinct was pushing me to go away, I stood there numbly to hear the rest of his words. Because I was doomed practically from every corner.

Swallowing, I tilted my head back at him to ask nervously, still wobbling on my knees,

" What.. what do you mean?"

The man gave me a cocky smile which I didn't like. Approaching me closer, he continued in an arrogant voice, tapping on his chin,

" Well, I am the owner of DGK Enterprise. You can become our brand ambassador. Trust me, Azrael can't have his influence on my company."

DGK was a well known cosmetic brand who run different businesses. I heard a lot of negative comments about them but honestly, never thought about working with them. I liked to keep my professional career clean and hazardous. Out of curiosity, I locked the door back, asking him again,

" Why are you trying to help me out? Don't you fear that Azrael's Wrath will fall on you?"

His expression changed color on time. Gritting his teeth together, he spat in a breath,

" No! We are in a bad encounter already. He...he has refused to accept my offer, even insulting me in front of board members."

Perhaps, I got the facts about why he came to me. But did he know who Azrael De Luca was? No! I did fucking no who he was or what he could do to me. Some punk businessmen like him didn't stand a chance against the Mafia King. My father used to tell me that the Mafia King had powers over all the Italy and various states. I would be foolish to think that this man could save me from Luca.

Shaking, I muttered quickly, wishing to get away from here before paparazzi found me,

" I am sorry..I can't think about any collaboration at this moment..I have to leave now.."

It was only a matter of seconds before he caught my wrists, growled his words out,

" Why are you being a stubborn ass?"

My eyes were hardened in disgust, looking down at the hand that caught me,

" Excuse me?"

The man continued with a cheeky smile, his grip tightened around my wrists,

" Come on, Girl! I have been following you for a year. Your assistant rejected our collaboration. In just one night Kiera, I can make you star again. Azrael can't have his influence on my company. You won't believe that I have been waiting for this moment for too long."

My body shrieked in disgust. His touch gave me the urge to be nauseous. A man around my father's age was giving me a proposal to fuck him for one night.

" Let..Go!!", I managed to blurt at the same time, panic creeped through my mind when I saw nothing around. It was an all hell dark parking lot. He didn't let go of me instead pressured my wrist more until I was hurting badly,

" Come to me baby..I can...Ahh.."

He flinched back in pain. I hit him hard across his face with my bag. Before he could catch me back, I spun around to run and shout hysterically,

" Help...help...me..."

I was sobbing, shaking and weak mentally. Never in my life, I faced a rape attempt like this. I heard hasty footsteps behind me. Seconds later, I missed my leg, fell on my knees after getting hit by something. Before I could scream for help again, multiple black cars started to drive inside the parking lot, the sounds of tire rotating were heard in the air.
