They were back in New York, his lawyer had already sent a notice to Eva for the complete custody of Emma. He had hired the best Family Court Lawyer in New York, Rachel Jones, she was a badass. She hadn't lost a single custodial trial in her career and she only took the cases of the elite.

Her name was enough to make an average lawyer shit in his pants, and Taimur was really looking forward to whom Eva and Mateo would appoint as their attorney. He didn't care much because he knew that he was going to win.

He was looking forward to how Eva was going to reply to his legal notice, it was going to be fun. He knew Eva can't live without Emma and it was a matter of time she will come back to him for her.

Everything had worked out smoothly according to his plan in Azmaayir, and right now all the members of the Royal Council were under house arrest awaiting the hearing. The leaks had rocked the media around the world as was expected.

King Waleed had issued an official statement to the people of Azmaayir that the one found guilty will be dealt with the most stringent action.

Alia was still not on speaking terms with him and after the leaks, she had fearlessly accused him of the one responsible. He had denied his connection to it, but sadly, she knew him very well and didn't believe a word he said.

He was back to his office nearly after two weeks, Alia had told him she wanted to go back because the boys were missing her, especially Ali, he needed her. He had asked his secretary to book a ticket for her to Azmaayir. There was no need to keep Alia stranded here in the US, she was only making matter worse by making him feel guilty of how he had behaved with her in Mexico.

"A Ms.Jones is here", His Secretary John announced as he entered his office.

"Send her in", Taimur replied.

A few moments later a woman entered she looked in her late thirties. She was wearing a grey colored business suit.

" Good Afternoon Your Highness", She greeted him and forwarded her hand for a handshake.

"Afternoon Ms.Jones, please call me Taimur, no need for protocols", He replied smiling as he sat on his chair.

She gave him a professional smile, Taimur wanted to get along well with her, he needed to win this suit at all costs, he couldn't dare to think about losing.

" Your ex, have hired an attorney", She told Taimur.

"How good is that lawyer", Taimur asked with a blank expression, but from inside he was really curious.

" He is good, I have never gone against him in a courtroom but he is damn good", She replied.

"His track record is near to flawless, only a few exceptions", She added.

Taimur gave out the breath he was holding, he knew Eva and Mateo will do everything in their power to retain custody of Emma.

This was a war for him and he wanted to win at all costs, the Arabian blood in his veins was striding with excitement, he loved a good fight.

" What are the odds", He asked Rachel.

"Undeniably in our favor", She replied confidently.

Taimur smiled at her, he liked her confidence, she was a fierce woman.

" We will break your ex on the stand, and rip her to shreds. There is no way they are surviving this trial", She said with a smirk.

"I am glad you have accepted my case, Rachel, I am looking forward to the trial", He said as he sat back on his chair.

" You will be in for an exciting ride Taimur", She winked at him and replied.

Taimur didn't reply to his comment, he looked at Alia and slowly lifted her chin upward and looked into her eyes.

" I love you, baby, more than anyone and I hope you know this. I will be with you soon, with our daughter. Till then take care of yourself, and the boys",

"I hope you know, what you are doing Taimur", She said tracing her finger on his face.

"Trust me, baby, I have never been so sure about anything before, I will see you in Azmaayir next week. Got to wind up a few things there", He replied.

"I will miss you", She said giving a peck on his cheek.

" I will miss you too", He replied kissing her forehead and stroking her hairs.

He was a little stressed, he had promised Alia before coming to the US, he will take her on a vacation, instead, all he did was hurt her.

Hurt the woman, who loved him more than anyone in this world. How could he do this to Alia?

"I am sorry", He said spreading his arm over her shoulder and walking towards the door.

" I am sorry too, I never should have threatened you like that, I love you, Tim. And I hope I will get my Tim back when all this is over, I miss him so much", She said snuggling close to him.

"Alia, I am yours, now and always", He said.

He kept lying to Alia because he didn't want to hurt her anymore. He knew he was being a selfish bastard. Lying to the woman who had loved him and always had been loyal to him. But he didn't have a choice, he couldn't let Alia walk away from him. It
