She hadn't thought what storm was awaiting her in Azmaayir. When she had gone to pick the boys from Sikander's estate, she had run into Sikander in the living room.

That was something she was not looking forward to, he was under house arrest, guards were posted outside the house and were checking everyone who went into the house.

Alia had to get permission from King Waleed to pick the boys who were staying with Sikander and Tayyaba.

She greeted Sikander and Tayyaba, who were seated on the couch in the living room, while the twins were busy coloring in a book. Miranda informed her that Ali was asleep and Martha was there with him.

"When your fool of a husband is returning? I hope he will be quite pleased with his achievement, getting the council arrested", Sikander snarled.

Alia avoided replying to him, she just looked at Tayyaba who was looking embarrassed by the outburst of her husband.

" Remind him, that I am his father and when this nuisance is over, he better get ready for a war, because that's what is coming for him", Sikander continued.

Alia was trying hard to keep herself calm, whatever Taimur had done was his decision and she had no say in it, and still, she was facing Sikander's wrath.

"I had warned you, Alia, he will go after that bitch again but you didn't pay me any heed, now see he has sent you back here and is busy seducing that whore to get back into his bed", Sikander said looking at Alia with disgust.

" I thought you were a sensible woman, but I was wrong, you are no better than any other dumb women in this family", Sikander was beyond furious.

"Abi, please calm down, I don't have any say into what your son had been up to in the last month since he found out he has a daughter with Eva.

You have known this, you could have prevented this if you would have told Taimur that Eva was pregnant before we got married. The situation I am caught up in right now is your fault, the way Taimur is acting right now is your fault.

What difference my consent would have made if he is determined to have her? He won't have married her, what do you think is better having a second wife or a mistress? I can't let my husband into a haraam (prohibited) relationship.

I know he wants that woman and he will have her one way or the other, and I don't want the blame to lay on me on the day of judgment. That because I didn't give him consent for a second marriage he entered a haraam (prohibited) relationship.

Though it's killing me, even to imagine him with her I still have to endure the pain just because, Abi, didn't let him marry her in the first place", She took a deep breath.

" I will speak to him when he gets back, it's okk if he wants to bring his daughter back, but marrying a woman who is not a Muslim and that to a divorcee, if she gets one from her current husband is not fit for a King", Tayyaba said in assurance.

"I don't think he cares much about what fits a King or not, he is just determined to have her and he will at any cost. He has gone this far that he has the council house arrested just so he could look good in the eyes of the nation than the members of the Royal Council", She replied to Tayyaba.

Alia didn't want to think about this anymore, she was tired of thinking the same thing from the last one month, she just wanted to forget everything, she just wanted to drown herself in her job and kids and not think about what Taimur might be doing with Eva.

Though Eva was determined to stay with Mateo, she knew it would be nearly impossible for her to resist the charms of Taimur Al Jahaan, who was determined to have her.
