Eva

She should stay away from him, she couldn't allow him to make her feel like this. Why did he have such an effect on her? Why couldn't she resist him? It only needed a few sweet words and a few caresses for him to make her weak in the knees.

She is married and she had a husband, she couldn't let him ruin her relationship with Mateo, she needed to be cautious. She can't allow Taimur to dictate her, she can't submit to his will. Why on Earth had she ever met him? And had they fallen for each other?

There are 7 billion people on Earth and why was she the one he wanted. Why couldn't he find any other woman? Why was he not content with his wife?

Poor Alia, she can't even imagine what Alia must be going through when her husband was desperately trying to woo another woman. She felt sympathy for her, it would kill her if Mateo was involved with another woman that was not her.

She had watched his press conference, and she was sure Mateo might have also watched or heard about it. He hadn't discussed anything with Eva regarding it. They both avoided Taimur's topic like it was some kind of a plague.

Damien had warned them that things were going to get worse now that the media had the sniff what was going on, and he said he was planning to file a motion to dismiss, on the infringement of breach of privacy of his client by the petitioner.

If the petition got dismissed she won't have to worry about losing Emma, but she didn't have high hopes. It was Taimur Al Jahaan they were dealing with and he will move mountains to get his daughter back.

Emma was getting attached to Taimur each passing day, though, he was in Azmaayir he never forgot to call her twice daily. The father and daughter used to speak for hours on the phone. Sometimes Eva didn't understand what Taimur could talk with a five-year-old for such long durations?

But she avoided eves dropping on their calls, she had no business listening to what he was talking about to his daughter. She had wronged him enough by hiding Emma's existence from him and she didn't want to do anything which would only burden her conscience further.

She was lost in thoughts that she didn't even hear her cell ring when it went silent and started ringing again Eva realized and picked it up from the center table. Emma was taking a nap and she was sitting in front of the television, her mind occupied with Taimur's thoughts.

She looked at the cell and was surprised to find it was Taimur, she looked at the clock and was wondering why he was calling at this hour, it was nearly 3 am in Azmaayir due to the time difference between the two countries.

"Hi", She said as she picked up the call.

" Hey", He replied.

"Is everything okay?", She asked worriedly.

" I just had a nightmare", He replied.

Eva felt her heart rate increasing, she knew very well how a nightmare felt like, she had a fair share of them.

"I saw that someone shot you", He said, Eva could sense the worry in his voice.

" I am fine Taimur, I am absolutely fine", She replied, though she was shaken to her core.

She couldn't understand the reason Taimur had such a nightmare, because they were never caught in a life-threatening situation together.

"Eva, I can't even imagine what I would do, if something like this happens in real life", He continued.

Eva felt someone squeezed her heart, why did he have to say such things to her, why doesn't he just go to being a ruthless royal.

" Eva, I love you. And I can't live without you baby, please give me a chance", He was pleading.

The Taimur Al Jahan was pleading to a woman like her, what did she have that he wanted her so desperately. Why did he love her so much? When he had an amazing wife and a family, why did he still want her?

"Taimur, I am okay. Nothing is gonna happen to me, please don't fret over a nightmare", She tried to calm him, she could hear his uneven breathing even on the phone.

"Do you remember that night? I came home late and you had drifted to sleep on the swing on the terrace, waiting for me?" He asked her.

How could she forget that night, the memory was still fresh in her mind like it was yesterday. She was scared to admit that she remembered every second of her time she spent with him like it was not six years ago, but just a few days back.

"Taimur, there is no use talking about the past, what's done is done. We should move on and think about the future", She said taking a deep breath.

" I am just doing that Eva, I am just thinking about my future, with you and Emma. I want you both in my life, I can't imagine living without any one of you", He replied.

Eva felt deterred, she was trying to reason with him, and he was determined to make her listen to what he had to say.

"I need to go", She whispered.

" I can't stop you", He replied.

Eva disconnected the call, she didn't realize a tear had rolled out of her eye. She was hurting him, she was hurting the man she loved and she was hurting herself, for whom?

Sometimes she just wanted to give in to him, to submit to his demands, she was tired fighting him and she was tired fighting herself. The constant battle between her heart and mind was taking a toll on her, she was close to giving up.

She wanted to be with him, to feel his strong muscular arms on her body, to feel his lips all over her skin. To feel him inside her, to cherish him to love him.

And she just needed to say it once and she knew he will take care of everything, he will not stop until he made her his, but was it worth it?

The pain and destruction her decision will cause to Mateo and Alia, how could she hurt the man who loved her and was always there for her and was still fighting to keep her daughter with her?
