CHAPTER 11

NARRATOR'S POV

Lindy sits on her chair as she stares at her notes, but even though she seems to have herself focused on studying, her mind was thinking about Harold. She has been dying to know what he looks like and why he never wants let her know what he looks like. Lindy grabbed her phone and decided to respond to Harry's message.

Harry's phone beeps over the table while he was writing on his notebook. He reaches for it and saw a message from Lindy: "Can you at least give me a clue what you look like?"

Harry smiles as he types, "Green."

Lindy's brows creasing.

Like Shrek? -Lindy

Harry laughs.

You're cute. No, I'm Fiona. -Harry

Lindy rolls her eyes while typing, "Come on, you have to give me some clue."

Brown hair with a handsome face. -Harry

Harry smirks as he stares at his own message.

Lindy groans, "You are so annoying sometimes."

NOT HELPFUL. TTYL, gotta study. -Lindy

Okay beautiful. -Harry

Harry grabs his notebook back and stared at a possible lyric of a new song. He takes his pen and continued writing a few more words.

So many nights I thought it over, I told myself I kind of liked her but there was something missing in her eyes.

Could we ever be enough? Baby we could be enough

The following morning, One Direction went to take a quick swim by the pool at the hotel before heading to their concert later in the day. It was around nine in the morning and Harry was swimming and lounging around together with Niall and Louis. Zayn and Liam were sitting down on their chairs watching them while having a conversation about Liam's messy relationship.

"How are you and Sophia?" Zayn asked while taking a drink from his ice tea.

"She was jealous over this photo online about this model linked to me."

"What model?"

"You know that Italian woman who was introduced to me? Sophia saw the photos of us eating out. I swear to God she would have ended it if I didn't go out with that model with other people."

Zayn shakes his head, "Sophia's on the edge."

"Man, I am literally tiptoeing on the edge. Luckily we were able to fix things. We talked about it last night. All good now." Liam sounded proud.

"That's good to hear mate."

Liam sips his drink, "How about you and Perrie?"

"She called me last night when I went out getting a few drinks with Niall and Louis."

Liam groans, "If Sophia and I didn't fight, I swear to God I could've seen women last night. Spanish women are tremendously hot."

Zayn nodded in agreement and commented, "Oh they are. They're dangerously attractive."

Liam raises his glass to agree.

Zayn chuckles, "Have you seen Justin's new chic? She's smoking."

Liam turned his head to Zayn. "Really? I heard about her but I haven't seen her."

Zayn stares at Harry who is swimming from one end of the pool to the other having a friendly competition with Niall. He laughs while watching his friends having fun as Louis tries to meddle with their little contest. Zayn looks back at Liam as he asked, "Yo Li, what do you think about Harry's new girl?"

Liam stared back at Zayn before traveling his eyes to Harry who was laughing with Niall and Louis. "I don't know. I don't even have any idea who it is."

"I guess we'll just have to see him go out in public with a girl on a tabloid unexpectedly. Remember that time with Kendall? Man, I thought it was photo shop." Zayn mumbled before taking a drink.

"Me too." Liam agrees with a nod. "But he's always busy with his phone recently unlike the other women he has had before. So this new ladybug must be important to him."

"I guess so." Zayn says. "But we all know Harry, he's only into it in the early stage but when he gets bored, he gets elusive with his women."

"True." Liam nods.

Meanwhile, Harry got off the pool with his hair all damp and had turned into a dark shade. He pushes his hair off his face as he walked towards his table and sat down on a chair next to Liam and Zayn.

"Did I get a text?" Harry asked.

Zayn and Liam glanced at each other before smiling.

"Yeah, she said she loves you." Liam lied, while smiling.

Harry quickly grabbed his phone and realized that Liam had lied to her, "Bastard, you're lying. It has no message."

Liam and Zayn burst into laughter as they enjoyed poking fun at him. Harry decided to sit down with them while wrapping the blue bath robe around his lean body before taking a long sip on his mango shake.

"Are you serious with this one, Harry?" Zayn questions.

Zayn gave Harry the look and Harry knows pretty damn well that Zayn only does that whenever he is flirting or trying to hook up with a new woman for sex when he is bored. Like any other man, Harry has his own needs to and kind of flirts his way to women to get what he wants because he knows women succumb to his needs since he's the Harry Styles from One Direction. Everyone loves a piece of fame.

"What are you talking about Zayn? She's my friend." Harry shrugged it off.

"Yeah, we've heard that million times Harold." Liam complains.

Harry grinned while sipping his mango shake and ignoring Liam and Zayn. He unlocks hie phone and begins to message Lindy.

You know, cellphones are two way. You haven't texted me yet :( -Harold

Meanwhile, Lindy was answering an exam when she felt that her phone vibrating inside her pocket. She didn't want to get distracted so she tried to focus on her exam rather than the message on her phone. Her class was ending early today because of the faculty meeting in the afternoon so she has a lot of free time. After answering and reviewing her answer sheet, she hurriedly passed it to her teacher and left the classroom. She pulled her phone out and read Harry's message.

I didn't wanna seem like I'm after you so I didn't text first. -Lindy

It's the 21st century, you can always text me first. -Harold

Won't I look like a flirt if I do that? -Lindy

No. It does not really matter does it? Just a simple hello or greeting will do. Maybe a how are you Harold will be better. I won't consider it flirting. I'd think it more of a you wanted to talk to me -Harold
