CONFESSION

LINDY'S POV

It was another ordinary Saturday, we went out to have a fancy dinner with my family to celebrate mom's birthday. Ted was there, Avery invited him which makes wonder why he is here with us. I thought they had a fight? Looks like they've patched things up.

"You've been so busy with your phone lately Lindy." Dad calls out to me.

"Yeah Lindy, who you texting with?" Avery asked with a grin.

"Umm... just a friend." I answered sheepishly while putting my phone back inside my pocket.

Avery smiles, "Oh don't be shy now."

"A friend? Is it a girl?" mom asked.

"Oh mom come on, as if a guy would want to have Lindy's cellphone number." Aver snorted and I see Ted smiling with her. They're just the most evil couple ever, I swear to God.

"Avery." mom hissed.

"I was joking. God." Avery commented.

"He's some guy I met about a week ago. He's really funny." I stated.

"He? Oh you're joking. You're absolutely joking." Avery commented sarcastically.

"Where have you had his number?" Dad interrogates while he stares at me.

I really do not know what to answer my parents right now especially that Avery is here to embarrass me in front of my parents. Plus, they know I suck at lying. They can see how I get awkward answering questions when I lie. I mean look at Avery, she's staring eagerly at me, ready to roast me.

"He's a friend of a friend. He was introduced to me." I lied while drinking my ice tea.

"Oh you're lying." Avery smiles.

I hate you Avery. "I'm not." I answered firmly, trying to hope that they will just believe me and would stop interrogating me. "And he wishes you a happy birthday too mom." I added.

"Oh that's lovely." Mom smiles happily at me. "Tell him thank you dear."

"Aren't you going introduce him to us?" Dad asked curiously and I know how strict she is when it comes to us talking to boys. He even scolded Avery so much when he found out about Ted.

"Let's just stop talking about me please?" I asked back.

After having dinner, we finally drove home and I survived the night filled with interrogation.

My mom says thank you for the birthday greeting. -Lindy

I'm glad to hear that. And I'm so relieved that you didn't leave my phone. -Harold

I gave a soft laugh as I remembered how the both of left our phones in Nando's. Finally, we reached home and I head to my room to change without wanting to talk to Avery. I greeted Button who enjoyed her meal that I prepared for her.

After getting on my PJs, I threw myself to bed and got on Twitter with my laptop.

With those words, I got more excited to see him. Harold is really coming back here and I no longer cared about my phone because it's him that I want to find out who. I wonder if he is excited to meet me too and I wonder what should I wear for tomorrow or iff I should wear make up? I don't want to look too dry when I see him and I also don't want to look too much.

NARRATOR'S POV

Meanwhile, the One Direction lads were already inside their plane and ready to take off. When the plane started taking off, Harry was very much excited and can't no longer wait to land. Harry's been all smiles heading to the airport because he only has one thing in mind and it was Lindy and finally seeing her personally. Liam was inside the restroom taking a piss, Louis and Zayn were talking about music while smoking and Niall was just playing his guitar.

"Are we guys going to eat at Nando's?" Niall asked no one in particular with his obsession about Nando's but Harry was getting lost in his own thoughts about Lindy.

"Can we find something far more fetch than Nando's?" Zayn responded with a question.

Liam exits the lavatory and joining Zayn and Louis in smoking. "We should go somewhere with a lesser crowd." Louis commented.

Zayn nods in agreement, "We're always interrupted by people asking for photos coming over to our table."

Liam nods, "I can understand that. Like you just want some peace while having dinner."

"Exactly." Zayn snaps his fingers at Liam.

"I don't mind really." Louis states before looking back at Harry who is lost in his own thoughts smiling and laughing to himself. "Is Harry seriously alright?"

Zayn, Liam and Niall turns to him before they glanced at each other.

"I'm kind of worried. He has been smiling like that even before the plane." Zayn commented.

"Harry." Niall calls out.

Harry was zoned out with thoughts of Lindy.

"Harry!" Niall calls out again as the other three were laughing. Niall grabbed a popcorn from the bowl and threw it at Harry. "Harold!"

Harry finally moved his head to Niall. "What?"

"What's up man?" Louis asks. "Lost in your thoughts again."

Harry smiles happily, "I'm definitely going back there."

Louis' brows creasing, "Are you referring about Nando's?"

Harry shakes his head, "What? Nando's?"

Zayn groans inwardly, "You're completely out of your mind, Harreh."

Harry's brows creasing because he didn't get what the other four were talking about. "I'm sorry, I don't get where the conversation is going."

Liam shakes his head and remembered, "Harold, didn't you say that the woman you've been texting with was from Canada?"

Harry's smiles widens absentmindedly, "I might be seeing her."

"Caught you." Liam snaps his fingers. "So this girl really is Canadian!"
