CHAPTER 22
UNEXPECTED
LINDY’S POV
Great, the devil is home..
"Did you bring a guy home?" Avery asked, raising her eyebrow.
"No. It's… It’s mine. I bought them a while ago when you left me at the parking lot." I reasoned out as I hurriedly grabbed them and walked to the stairs.
"You have a very weird taste in fashion, you know that? A beanie? Who wears a fucking beanie?"
"Uhhh.. Harry Styles?" I mumbled to myself.
"What did you say?" she snapped.
"I said... I thought you were coming home late?"
"The girls weren't interested on going for a night out. Did you order pizza? I smell pizza." she says loudly while sniffing.
Great smell, dog.
"No. I'll be up in my room now. Sleeping. Night." I left her while running up to my room.
I opened the door and saw Harry styles sitting on my bed so handsomely even if he was not doing anything. He moved his head to me with a smile. “You’re back. Thank God.” He says and I quickly got inside as I locked the door.
"I forgot to tell you that I left my--”
I pulled out his trench coat and beanie showing it to him.
He clicks his tongue and said, "Sorry."
I walked towards him and exhaled in relief but we should not be complacent. He held my hand and pulled me down on the bed. I sat down beside him as he stared at my eyes while holding my cheek with his right hand.
"I really love your gray eyes." He says so softly..
It was hard for me to breath. I was holding it in so I pulled myself away. "I'm hungry."
He chuckles, "Let's eat."
He opens the box of pizza and the aroma just filled the room. Oh yes, I was starving and yes the pizza smelled really good. We took a slice for ourselves and started taking a bite on it.
“How did it go out there?” He asks.
“I think she didn’t suspect a thing. We just have to be extra quiet.”
He nods at me. "I see you've received my gifts for you."
"Oh yeah! I forgot to thank you for that. My mom loved the perfume by the way, and thanks for this iPhone case."
He smiled. "I'm glad you loved them."
"But how did you know I liked that case?"
"It was on your gallery. You pictured it in a mall, I think?"
Oh god, how embarrassing. "Right. I forgot about that."
"And I loved the pasta you made. Paul gave it to me before the meet and greet."
I blushed and worried if it would pass to a celebrity’s taste bud. "Was it good?" I questioned while staring at my pizza slice.
"It was hella good!"
Knock knock knock knock
"Fucktard!"
"What the fuck Avery." I mumbled.
Harry chuckles softly.
"Are you talking to someone or you're going cray?" She yelled.
"I'm watching a movie online Avery!"
"A good thing definitely." He answered.
Suddenly, his phone vibrated that made us pull ourselves away from each other. He got out his phone from his pocket and stared at it.
"I'll take this call." he tells me.
I nodded.
"Hello Louis?" Harry answered. "Yeah. I'm with her right now." Harry added while moving his head to me. "Louis says hi." He blurted while pulling away his phone from his mouth.
I smiled and said, "Tell him I said hello."
"She says hello to you too. So, why'd you call me?... Huh? Oh. Okay. Okay. Don't worry. I won't.. Yeah. Got it. Okay thanks. Bye bro." Harry hangs up.
"What did he say?" I asked.
"That I need to be careful in leaving your house and getting back to the hotel."
I gasped.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
I grabbed his wrist and pulled him back inside my room.
"My parents are back!" I exclaimed.
He stands in front of me and has not complained how this day has been turning upside down for him and I am sure that he must be tired too.
“I’m so sorry.”
His creasing, “What for?”
“All this. It’s embarrassing how I am hiding you in my room.”
Harry smiles, “I am not complaining. I am fine baby and I know you don’t want to disappoint your parents too. I mean, it’s late and it would be pretty bad to have a man who’s five years older than you be in your room.”
I smile at him as he continues to tell me, “I’m glad I met you.”
