CHAPTER 49

THE ULTIMATE BFF

LINDY’S POV

Martha turned her head to them while they waved at her with sweet smiles on their faces. Her eyes widened and hurriedly sat down on the couch. "Oh my god..." she started repeating it like a mantra everytime she sees them.

"Martha calm down." I told her while moving closer.

"This is real, isn't it? This isn't those hologram shit that's done on tv, is it? Holy fucking shit it's One Direction!!! NIALL, ZAYN, LOUIS, LIAM AND HARRY!!" she yelled and started jumping so happily on the couch.

"Please relax. We don't want you to faint again." Liam says worriedly.

"I'm shaking!!" She exclaimed loudly.

She hurriedly ran to them and they stand. She hugs each of them tightly while she was crying. Oh my gosh, I can really see how she loves One Direction so much and I can really see her tears of hapiness. I know she has been a huge fan of these guys and it is super nerve wracking to watch.

"Oh my god I love you guys so much. I love your songs and I'm so in love with you. Can you please follow me back on twitter?" She says all of those words while crying and I couldn’t help but laugh.

"We love you too." Niall responded while Harry was rubbing her back.

Martha hugged Harry again as he hugged her back. I smiled as Harry stares at me with a smile too.

"I love you so much Harry. I can't explain how I love you. Follow me back on twitter please." she sobbed.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." Harry answered her.

She pulled herself away and turned to me. "Wait... You didn't tell me." Martha calls out.

My smile fades, "Didn't tell you what?"

"You lied to me. "

I startled as I stare at Harry. Shit, I think she has figured out about me and Harry. "Lied about what?" I asked.

She stares at me eagerly. "That you were a closet Directioner! Oh my god! You could've just told me Lindy!" she blurted.

I exhaled.

"I'm not a closet Direc--"

"But wait..” She cuts me off. “Why is the world famous billion dollar boyband inside your house?" she asked.

I gulped.

"We had a flat tire." Louis answered.

"There's no van outside." Martha answered back.

"It was sent to the shop and...." Niall trailed off staring at the others.

"--And we just needed some place to hide before fans see us." Zayn added.

"Right. That was right." Liam seconded.

"First off, there's no car shop nearby this place. Secondly, I'm not a seven year old girl that you can use those kind of lies. Now will somebody please tell me the truth?"

The boys glanced at each other and I didn’t know what to say to. They glanced at me and I had no words inside my head but to tell Martha the truth.

"Lindy's our friend." Louis blurted.

"And we just got here from camping." Zayn added.

I face palmed.

"Wait. You knew 1D? And you didnt tell me?!" Martha exclaimed.

"Martha listen, you--" I stood from the couch.

"I thought you were my best friend?! You knew them without telling me you knew them when you know I am their biggest fan on Earth!!" She yelled while cutting me off.

"Marth--"

"Lindy you've got some explaining to do! Why do you know them? How did you know them? When--"

"MARTHA!!" I called out loud.

She got quiet.

"Will you listen for a sec?" I asked her.

"Alright. All ears." she says while crossing her arms on her chest.

"Okay, so I know One Direction but we knew each other just recently. I didnt tell you because you will never believe me. I mean who will believe me that Im friends with One Direction. Martha Im sorry. Forgive me if I did not tell you. I was also thinking about their reputation."

Martha smiled at me. "Im not mad, silly. But oh my gosh can you take a photo of us Lindy? Pretty please?" she begged while handing me her phone.

"But DO NOT tell anyone about this." I clarified.

"ANYONE including your cousins, sisters and somebody else." Louis adds.

Martha nodded. "I wont tell. I promise."

I took her phone and started taking pictures of them then solos with each member. She kept hugging them one by one and just went total fangirling. I just laughed while staring at her.

"You have a loud friend." Liam scooted his way to me.

I smiled at him.

"Very loud." Louis stood beside me.

"I told you she's a big fan of you guys." I answered.

"I took the big part of what you said literally."

Liam and I started chuckling.

"Dont you get jealous seeing your best friend hugging your boyfriend like that?" Liam asked.

"Not really. She's my best friend and I trust Harry." I answered.

"Remember she's blond." Louis blurted.

"So?" I asked.

"Harry is into blondes." Liam answers.

"Fuck off Liam. I guess he likes brunettes now since you're his girlfriend." Louis added.

I just smiled.

Yeah, I remember, he told me he has a thing for blondes.

Harry stared at me and I just smiled at him.

I marched my way to the kitchen because Martha said she was hungry, so I had to microwave the foods that was left. I left them while they were busy entertaining her and I can see how she’s really having her time. I dont wanna be a selfish friend so I had to let her enjoy being with One Direction. I grabbed the foods out of the fridge and placed it inside the microwave. I pulled out the pitcher and made an Ice Tea.

"Oh Harry! You are such a sweet guy!" I could hear Martha.

I paused and I continued getting busy preparing her foods. She was a guest, so I had to prepare everything for her. It's not like I was feeling pissed that she's flirting with Harry, I was okay with it because she doesn't know about us.

I didn't mind at all.
