“I’ve experienced it before, and I’ve been deceived. How can I not see it? You can’t outsmart men,” Nora remarked. 

Megan frowned and then focused intently on sewing clothes. 

Moments later, Alexander rushed into the studio. “Meg!” 

Megan glanced up at him and noticed that he was drenched in sweat. 

He saw that she was doing just well in the studio “Meg, why haven’t you been picking up my calls?” 

Rosalind looked at him, then at Nora. She quickly lowered her head. 

“Meg?” 

“Get lost!” Megan slammed the office door, leaving Alexander confused.

Alexander felt bewildered. He invited her out for a meal, but she declined. Not only did she ignore his calls and messages, but eventually, she even turned off her phone. 

“What happened, Meg?” 

Megan opened the door to let him in and then closed it again. 

He panicked. “What’s the matter, Meg? I…” 

“Do you want to ask me to marry you and start a family together?” 

“Yes.” 

“I never expected you to be that kind of person Alexander.” After testing him, it turned out that he was the kind of scumbag Nora mentioned 

“I’ve completely misjudged you.”
