“Angie, you weren’t this shy with me before.”

She bit her lip and glanced down at his hand. It was hard to believe things between them had progressed to this level.

The way she bit her soft pink lips was so cute that Chester couldn’t help but grab the back of her head and kiss her again.

to her neck, where his warm breath sent tingles through her body.

“Enough,” she moaned.

Angelina was astonished by her voice. She tried to push him away, but she seemed to lose all strength, and instead, he grabbed her hand in his.

He pressed her hand to his chest and stated, “If it weren’t for last night’s incident, I’d want you right now.”

Her cheeks heated as she met his intense gaze. “Chester.”

She wondered how he brought it up last night so casually.

“Don’t worry. I’m not a beast. I’ll wait until you’re healed.”

Then, Chester lowered his head, and she reflexively shut her eyes. But this time, he carefully straightened her clothes.

Angelina blushed furiously and pushed him again, only for her hand to land on his firm chest. Even through his shirt, his chest felt hard and well–defined. For a moment, she was lost in her thoughts.
