Chapter 74
Seeing Maggie, the nanny hurtled to thank her.
Maggie stilet and said, “You’re welcome.”
Maggie assumed that after yesterday’s incident, Daisy would be afraid to get back in the water. However, it seemed that Harry had helped her overcome the fear.
py held onto the nanny’s hand will one hand, hugging her flotation device with the other, and after a moment of testing the water with her feet, she slowly eased into it.
Soon, she paddled towards Maggie and softly called out, “Anutic…
Maggie turned around. “What’s wrong?”
But Daisy didn’t respond, simply swimming around happily in circles around Maggie.
The nanny laughed and said. “Daisy really likes you.”
Maggie smiled but didn’t reply.
Later, when the company’s activities were about to start, Maggle had to leave. Before she left, she waved goodbye to Daisy.
Daisy stretched her arms out to her, saying, “Auntie, pick me up.”
Maggie had no choice but to lift her out of the water and onto the shore.
After changing into a dry bathrobe, Maggie carried Daisy and they walked to the elevator, planning to part ways once they reached their floor.
But just as they were waiting for the elevator, Harry appeared.
Daisy, with her small white face, broke into a bright smile. “Uncle!”
Harry stepped forward and reached out to take her in his arms. But Daisy, reluctant to let go of Maggie, stretched out one arm
to Harry.
Harry scooped her up, but when he did. Daisy’s other hand clung to Maggie’s bathrobe.
As Harry lifted her, Daisy held onto Maggie so tightly that she unintentionally pulled the bathrobe open.
Maggie, wearing a blue lace lingerie set underneath, was now exposed in front of Harry. Her flawless, fair skin, her full and beautifully shaped chest, and her slender waist were all strikingly eye–catching.
Maggie’s face flushed crimson, embarrassed. She quickly pulled the bathrobe back into place, trying to cover herself.
Harry’s eyes darkened. Realizing what had happened, he quickly turned around, averting his gaze.
The nanny too, was incredibly awkward, though fortunately, there was no one else around. Otherwise, the situation would

have ligen even more embarrassing. She hurriedly helped Maggle adjust her clothes.
Maggie was usually very modest and had never exposed herself like that in front of any man except Franklin… Especially not someone who was a close friend of Franklin’s. This made her even more uncomfortable.
Once her clothes were properly adjusted, she still couldn’t shake the discomfort. “I have to go now,” she said awkwardly, “TI
leave first,”
Harry finally turned around and said, “Sorry.”
Daisy, sensing that something was wrong, thought she had upset Maggie. She looked at Maggie with watery eyes and softly
glogized, “Auntle, I’m sorry…”
Maggie knew it wasn’t intentional and couldn’t really blame her. “It’s okay, I know you didn’t mean to.”
She smiled faintly, waved goodbye to Daisy, and stepped into the elevator.
Harry watched the elevator doors close, then looked down at Daisy and said, “Daisy, you shouldn’t grab other people’s clothes. like that, okay?”
Daisy nodded earnestly. “Okay…
Because she had to go back to the Wilson family’s old house for dinner.
Around 4 p.m., after the group activities, Maggie prepared to leave early. Since she was leaving ahead of time. Johnny accompanied her to the parking lot, reminding her, “Drive carefully.”
“I know,” Maggie responded.
As she spoke, a car slowly approached them. Maggie didn’t notice at first, but then the rear window rolled down, and Daisy popped her head out, waving at Maggie. “Goodbye, Auntie!”
Maggie smiled faintly and said, “Goodbye. Daisy.”
After saying this, she noticed Harry looking at her, so she paused and nodded at him as a form of greeting. Harry nodded back and then glanced at Johnny beside her before turning his gaze away.
As he watched the car drive off. Johnny rubbed his chin and remarked, “I don’t know, but I felt like Harry was sizing me up
just now.”
Maggie wasn’t particularly concerned. “Really? What would he be sizing you up for?”
Johnny wasn’t sure either. He just had that feeling. After hesitating for a moment, he said,
“Could it be because he saw us getting too close, and he thinks our relationship is too ambiguous? Maybe he’s keeping an eye on me for his good friend Franklin?”
Maggie’s smile faded slightly, and she said dismissively, “Don’t worry, that’s definitely not it.”

Alguém saberia dizer o que houve com o livro, sem atualização a tempos...
Nada de episódio novo?...
Does the book stop? When are we going to get a new chapter?...
Olá, A história parou no capítulo 288? O nome do livro me gerou mais expectativas, quando ela realmente vai desprezar os dois e brilhar???...
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
