"He found us but didn't kill my parents he told them he wouldn't hurt me like that," she smiled to herself.

"But he hurt me like that," I told her.

She nodded her head, "I know and ever since that day I have never been able to forgive myself for what happened. Morgan, your mom was an amazing person and died saving me, and I am sorry for that."

Tears poured out of my eyes and I could feel my body shaking. Ash came behind me rubbing my shoulder comforting me, but I shrugged it off.

"She died because of you."

Grace sat there crying in front of me and Ash. Ash and I made no movement to comfort her or calm her down. I was too angry to do anything or help her and behind me Ash answered a call from Anthony saying that they were five minutes away. Grace was over listening to the conversation and got even more nervous. I would probably feel sorry for someone in Grace's position, but for the reason her is in this position I feel no sympathy.

I heard the door open and close behind me along with some whispering. I felt a pair of familiar arms wrap around my waist. I looked up at John who was watching Grace with no expression on his face. I could hear Tommy tell Ash and Anthony to leave the room. I heard the door close and Jackie entered the room.

Tommy looked at Grace, "I have never had to deal with a situation like this one so how 'bout we start from the beginning, and go from there?"

Grace retold the story she had told me. John ever so often would squeeze my waist but I couldn't listen to her story again. I wiggled out of John's arms and ran out of the room. I ran into the backyard.

John's P.O.V.

Morgan ran out of my arms. It hurt for her to run out of my arms but I knew she needed to be alone right now.

"Grace, you do know we will need to find Charlie, don't you?" My father told her.

Grace or Sarah whatever her name is nodded making sure not to make eye contact with me.

'Son, you know what you have to do with her.' my father messaged me.

I looked at him shocked.

'Dad, she obviously didn't ask for this,' I replied.

He shook his head, 'As much as I wish that as not true; it does not change anything.'

I nodded.

"Grace, I know this is hard but now that we know Charlie is your mate we cannot trust you as much as we did before. You will be kept down stairs in a holding room from now until we come up with a diplomatic solution to resolve the situation with the Rouges."

Grace's finally looked up into my father's eyes, "Alpha, please I am not a trader. I did not mean for any of this to happen, please," she begged.

"Torn between the people I love and the things I know are right."

I thought about her words and when I didn't reply she continued her thoughts.

"You don't have to choose between your family, pack, and your mate. I didn't want to be like this. I didn't want to be Charlie's mate. Do you know what it is like growing up hearing that your mate is a killer, murderer, a Rouge?" she asked.

I didn't respond.

She laughed, "Do you know what it is like to feel like your mate will never come?"

"Grace, you knew who your mate was since you were young."

"I wasn't talking about me," she said.

Who else could she be talking about?

"He died when his sister died. Did you ever talk to his parents? Have you ever seen how people treat them?" Her voice sounded angry, "Have you? No, of course not people only look at one little thing and not at the big picture."

I could hear her sit on the bed in the room. As much as I hated Charlie his mate had a good point. No one not even Morgan has talked to his parents. I mean their daughter died and their only son is the leader of the Rouges.
