Arthur stood up, "Everyone in favor of Jonathan taking responsibility of this pack say "I"."

Franklin was the first, "I" and many more followed.

A smile formed on my lips as I saw John get nervous before every response. Jackie was just as nervous since it looked as if Tommy's blood circulation wasn't getting to his left hand.

"Sextus, you are the last one. Do you think Jonathan should take on the responsibility?"

'John, do you want to cut off the circulation in my hand?' I asked him.

He immediately loosened his grip, 'Sorry,' he said nervously.

'Nervous are we?'

'A little I didn't think it would be like this. I didn't even think it would be today. Why aren't you nervous?'

'Who said I wasn't?'

'You are so calm.'

'I am nervous for you. I know one of us has to be calm in this kind of situation.'

'You knew.'

'What?'

'You knew this was going to happen tonight?'

'No I didn't.'

'Morgan you so did.'

'No I didn't.'

'Fine you didn't but you so did.' He said smirking at me.

"Sextus, we would like to know now?"

Sextus cleared his throat, "I have one question?"

Arthur's expression change, "Every well ask away."

Arthur sat down giving the floor to Sextus.

Sextus stood up and cleared his throat again.

"Do you think you are ready to be Alpha?" He asked.

"I do," Was all he said.

Sextus smiled and nodded head.

"Now, Sextus, what is your response?" Arthur asked.

"I"

Jackie squealed and jumped into Tommy's arms.

"I, Arthur, held of the council am happy to announce that you, Jonathan Thomson Clark are accepted to be Alpha of this pack. Congratulations my boy," Arthur said proudly.

I jumped into John's arms and he spun us around. I could have drowned in his eyes. They looked so happy and loving.

"Will you be there? Will you be there next to me; every step of the way?" He asked as he put me down.

I smiled, "I wouldn't have it any other way."

John's P.O.V

I kissed her. I hadn't been this happy in my entire life except when I knew Morgan was alright at Charlie had bitten her.

"How-Where did you get this?" she asked petting one of the horses.

"I found it in an old shed that my grandfather used to have on the property when I was a senior in high school. At first I was just going to get rid of it but something told me to fix it up."

"It is beautiful."

She walked around to the door of the sleigh. I open it and helped her in. I walked to the other side, grabbed the reins, and pulled the blanket I had packed over us.

"So where are we going?" I asked her.

She laughed, "Anywhere," she said and snuggled next to me.

I grabbed the reins and just drove us around the property. The trees were covered with blankets of snow and the forest was quiet. The animals had all gone to sleep and the tree branches were covered in heavy blankets of snow.

"It's beautiful."

I turned and looked at my mate who was mesmerized by the beauties of nature.

"Yeah, it sure is," I said staring at her.

She turned to me when she realized that I was looking at her and blushed turning her cheeks bright pink.

"I was talking about the scenery."

"So was I," I said smirking at her.

She playfully hit my arm and snuggled into my arm again.

"Should we go back to the house it is getting late? Plus, you look as if we are in Antarctica. " I said to her.

"Okay, I don't know why I am so cold."

I snapped the reins and brought us back to the warmth of the pack house. As we pulled up to the pack house the snow was coming down heavier and the lights that outlined the pack house were dim. Morgan could barely keep her eyes open and was mumbling her words.
