"We're home," I whispered in her ear.

She fluttered her eyes and stretched out her arms signaling me to carry her.

"You are such a little kid."

"No, I am not," she mumbled.

"Yes, you are."

"We both are."

"Alright, I will compromise with that."

I tied up the horses to the old post that was used back in the day to tie up the horses before lifting Morgan into my arms. I carried her inside and I could feel her muscles relax as the warm heat surrounded us. I didn't understand why she was cold usually werewolves aren't affected by the temperature around them. As I walked up stairs I realized how different things have changed since last Christmas. I was dating Kalee and didn't even think about my mate, or who she was. I wanted to be Alpha but I knew I wasn't ready. Now, I have Morgan and my life may be crazy at times I wouldn't change it. I am now going to be Alpha as soon as I tell the pack and hold the ceremony.

I walked into our room and laid Morgan on the bed. I slid off her coat and shoes and went into the closet to change. I stripped down to my boxers and picked out a T-shirt for Morgan. I turned toward the bed and found the most beautiful sight in the world.

Morgan's P.O.V

While John went to change I decided to change out of my dress so that I could breathe better. I slid off my dress and let it fall to the floor. Immediately two warm arms wrapped around me.

"Is this my Christmas present?" He whispered in my ear making me shiver.

"I am not that cheap," I said turning around in his arms.

He growled, "You are not even close to that."

His lips moved down my cheek and neck and then back up again.

"Oh!" I said jumping out of his arms.

"What is it? What is wrong?" He asked alarmed.

I ran over to the Christmas tree that we had set up in our room and picked up the little present I had gotten for John. I then ran over to him and placed it right in front of his face.

"Open it!" I said jumping up and down.

He just laughed at me and gently lifted the small package out of my hands. As a joke he held it up to his ear and shook it.

"A Lamborghini?"

"Just open it," I said shaking my head.

I laughed and nodded my head. Looking into his eyes I got lost in what could have felt like eternity. John brought his lips back to mine and kissed me with so much passion that it felt as if I would melt in his arms. As his lips traveled over my skin I couldn't help but think that life couldn't get any better than this. I am marked with the love of not only the most wonderful man in the world, not an Alpha, but a wolf.

**********

I woke up the next morning to the sound of crinkling paper and John cursing.

I giggled, "You need a little help over there?"

"No," he replied quickly, "you stay over in that bed and go back to sleep."

I heard more crinkling of paper and more cursing.

"Oh shit, paper cut!"

That was it I was up and out of bed. I grabbed my robe from the bathroom and went and sat next to John on the floor. I smiled up at his frustrated and confused face as he stared at the gift he was trying to wrap.

"Sweetie, you are good at a lot of things but I don't think gift wrapping is one of them," I said reaching for the gift box.

He grabbed my wrist in a tight grip and replied, "No. This is the one gift you can't wrap."

"Why not? I love wrapping," I said with a big smile.
