"That is her acceptance letter into pre-medical school with early admittance," Mrs. G said.
"Or rejection letter," I added.
"Of course it is an acceptance letter," Jackie said taking the letter out of my hands, "do you mind?"
I shook my head signaling her to open it. She read it once to herself after ripping the envelop to sheds and smiled.
"Dear Miss. Morgan Davidson, we are pleased to tell you that our acceptance committee was very impressed with your essay and application. On that note I am happy to tell you that you have been accepted into the Pre-Medical program at Harvard University," Jackie squealed.
I was suddenly wrapped into a giant bear hug. I was so happy and excited. I got in to pre-med. A chill went down through my body. My head began to spin and suddenly I could not control my body. My wolf began to snarl and snap her teeth at an unknown threat.
"Morgan? Are you alright?"
"Go get Ashling and the others."
Their voices sounded distant and I couldn't feel my body. With what vision I had I could see a black dot on my arm growing and growing. It was as if someone had taken black paint and painted a perfect circle on my arm.
"What is happening to her?"
Blurry figures walked closer to me and for some reason I was scared of them. I felt the need to move as far away from them as possible. One of the figures came right up to me until me back it the wall I could not move anywhere else.
"Morgan, I am not going to hurt you, but this is going to hurt."
"Follow her. She might bring you to whoever is going this," she said turning to the other figures behind her.
"What is happening to her?"
"She has been marked."
"Of course she has. John marked her as his mate."
"Not like that. Someone is trying to fight her wolf for dominance over her body. There is someone trying to control her."
"How do you know this?"
"Charlie had a memory just like this with the black dot on his arm. I went home and studied every book I have on dark magic and came across this. Once I realized it I rushed over here as soon as possible."
I finally regain some control of my mouth and voice.
"What is going to happen to me?" I asked.
The figure now that I realized was Kalee and the other two were Jackie and Ashling.
Kalee turned toward Jackie, "Give this to Charlie. If I am correct the same thing is happening to him what is happening to Morgan right now. We may find out why Charlie has done all the things he has."
"John is on his way," Ash said.
'No, mom and Grace are tracking them. You need to talk to you ex girlfriend.'
'What?'
I stayed were I was pacing back and forth. What if she gets hurt? What if something happens to her? How come she didn't even stop and recognize me?
"John!" Kalee called jumping off of Ash's back.
I shifted back into my human form.
"What is going on?"
"Short story is that I highly believe that someone is controlling Charlie and now Morgan."
"Why? How is that even possible?"
"Right when I got home it bugged me that I couldn't figure out why Charlie was like that. I looked through all of my books. I even called my mother. I finally found something that matched all the symptoms that Charlie had. It is part of a dark spell that can only be performed by a very powerful witch."
"So do you know who it is?"
"No, but there was something else that I found; one of the books said that this certain spell can only be done by a deceased person."
"So what you're telling me is that my girlfriend is being controlled by a dead person. Oh! Wonderful," I said sarcastically.
