"Thankyou Alpha Jackson." I give him a hand shake before excusing myself to go and see Clare.

I walk back into the room to see Clare still asleep. I take a seat next to the bed taking her hand into mine. I quickly slip off my shoes slipping in next to her being careful not to cause her too much pain. I keep her close as relief washes over me that it has all ended.

Clare

When I wake up again it is dark outside as the owls hoot in the woods. My body is still in pain and I know I will be in pain for a while. I feel Conner's arms wrapped around me so I slowly turn so I am facing him.

Conner is fast asleep and I watch him memorising his beautiful face. I raise my hand ignoring the fire spreading down my arm as I slowly trace his frown lines that have shown up on his face. I smooth them out running my hand down his face to his chin. I run my thumb across is beautiful soft lips thinking how lucky I am to have him.

Conner could have rejected me when we met, but he didn't and I am glad. I reach up running both my hands along his strong broad shoulders knowing that he has to carry a lot of my weight on them. As I run my hands down his arms he slowly starts to stir. I keep running my hands up and down his arms knowing that without them I wouldn't be able to stand most of the time.

"You enjoying feeling me up." Conner opens his eyes and I blush that he caught me.

"Sorry." I move my hands away, but Conner grabs them placing them on his solid chest.

"It's ok Clare." I trace patterns across his chest.

"Clare I have to tell you something." I nod my head as I focus on tracing shapes on his chest.

"Yes I would have liked to have children with you Clare because they would have been beautiful just like you. However if having children means giving you up then I don't want any. You are all I need Clare. All I need is your love and don't you start with you not being able to love me the way I deserve to be loved because you also deserve love." He gently kiss me on the lips wiping away my tears that have stained my face.

"I love how caring you are and how protective you are of Grace and I. You are willing to anything to keep us safe even if it means damage to you own health. I love how strong you are, you have been through so much and you are still fighting never giving up. What I most love about you is your love. It is warm and bright and everyone can feel it."

He gently cups my face and leans in slowly until his lips are just grazing mine. He gently bites down on my bottom lip causing me to wrap my arms around his neck. Conner places his hands on my hips slowly bringing me closer to him.

His lips are so soft and gentle as they move in perfect synchronization with mine. His tongue darts out touching mine as heat explodes through my body. I ignore the protest of my body as I move closer to Conner. I move my hands through his hair loving the feel of the soft texture running through my fingers.

Conner slowly kisses his way down my neck and I freeze when he gets to the spot where he will mark me. Conner ignores me and starts kissing his way back up my neck, kissing my jaw before stopping at my lip.
