"I don't have a problem with any of the football players." Tim says. "Except for Overton
and Jacobs." He shrugs. "Well Overton is okay I guess, he's kind of a tool but most of them are."
"Why don't you like Owen? He seems nice."
Tim snorts. "Yeah, because he's trying to get in your pants."
"He is not!"
"Yes, he is. He's a guy, all guys just want to get in your pants." Tim argues.
"You don't. Nick doesn't." I say.
He laughs. "If you weren't hooking up with McAllister I would, we all would. That's
why I don't like Jacobs, he knows you're hooking up with McAllister and he's still trying to hit it."
"No, he's not. So, you're saying every guy in the house wants to sleep with me?" I knew that couldn't be true, I hang out with them all the time and none of them have ever hit on me.
"Yes." Ian, Tim and Nick all say in unison.
"Yeah right." I laugh it off. "Not all guys are like that."
"Yeah, they are." Ian says.
"So you're saying the only reason you hang out with me is to hook up?"
"Don't answer that." Tim laughs.
"If we weren't hooking up you wouldn't hang out with me?" I ask Ian, my heart is beating out of my chest while I wait for him to answer. I want to be more than just a hook up to him. He's definitely more than a hook up to me. "I thought we were friends." I say after he's
silent for longer than I'd like for him to be.
"We are friends." He said without hesitation.
"But only because we're hooking up?"
Tim laughs. "You're screwed, Man."
Ian flips him off. "No, we were friends before we started hooking up. Remember? But yeah, the whole time I was wanting to sleep with you."
"What? I thought you were just being nice because Mason cheated on me and dumped me through a text."
"No."
Ian relaxes next to me. "See? I told you he was moving in on her." Tim says to Ian.
"He's not moving in on me. He was just being nice."
"He wants it." Nick says. "Trust me I saw the way he was looking at you the other day. He wants it."
"You guys are gross. Seriously, he's just a nice guy. He's never even hit on me."
"He better not." Ian says.
"He will, Dude, he's just trying to see if he has a chance first." Tim says.
"You're all wrong, not every guy is a perv like you guys. He's just a nice guy who bought me coffee."
"Is that code for something?" Nick starts laughing. "Because if it is I'd love to buy you coffee later."
"Ha. Ha." I say.
Just because all they care about is getting laid doesn't mean that's what every guy wants, it doesn't mean it's all Owen wants either. He seemed really concerned about me when I went to the ER, he kept asking Jess how I was. If he was only interested in hooking up with me he wouldn't have been so concerned. They're wrong.
