Though phrased as a question, his tone was relaxed and open, making it feel more like a conversation than a business pitch. 

Caroline felt at ease and soon found herself answering his questions effortlessly. 

Before she knew it, the sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in warm hues. 

The meeting had flown by. She hadn’t even noticed how much time had passed.

Since he was being so gracious, Caroline agreed. “Then I’d be happy to join you, Mr. Cameron.” 

Cameron picked one of the most expensive steakhouses in town.
