Daria sighed and responded, "There's nothing for you to apologize child."

"I...my brother found your...eye and I...."

"You have my eye?", Daria interuppted me and hurried to me.

I nodded my head in confirmation. Why did the smallest actions like nodding feel like draining energy from my body?

"Where is it?", she desperately wanted to know.

"At the Crescent Moon pack. Another witch was just touching it when I suddenly was here.", I tried to explain to her, but my speech seemed slurred.

Daria's eye widened and she said, "Oh no, we have to get you back right now!"

She hurried towards a shelf with lots of bottles and flowers.

I had no idea what she was talking about, but everything seemed to slow down as my body felt more tired than it had ever felt before. But she was our only hope in finding Nathan so I tried to find strength to ask her.

"I know it seems too much to ask, but I need your help to find...", I tried to explain to her and Daria whirled around again.

"Nathan.", she whispered and although I could barely keep my eyes open I somehow found the strength again to open them. Daria knew Nathan.

"Please!", was all I could breath out and something cold touched my forehead.

"Sophia try to remember antyhing you can about this place! You've to return to me, but with my eyeball. Only then will I be able to help you.", her warning rang clearly in my ears.

Something warm touched my forehead and I felt myself being lifted, but there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. I had no control over my body anymore and I was just too tired to fight it. All I was sure of was that I had to find Daria's cottage and bring back her eyeball.

With a gasp I came awake again and instantly realized that I was in a room I had never been before. Unease spread through me especially when I heard the beeping coming from a machine beside me.

Suddenly the door flew open and Silas stormed through it. I smiled at my brother, relieved that someone familiar was here, but when I noticed his bloodshot eyes dread overcame me.

"Is something wrong? Is someone hurt?", I instantly wanted to know and felt my heart accelerate.

Silas' dark blue eyes filled with tears and I started to think about the worst case scenario, because I had never seen my brother cry.

"Is it Milena?", I whispered, thinking that if I did not say it out loud it could not be real.

Silas slowly came closer and when he smilingly shook his head I breathed a sigh of relief. Milena was okay - my heart slowly started to calm down again. However, I was still worried, because Silas' eyes were still filled with tears.

"Why are you crying then?"

"I'm so sorry Silas!"

I cursed myself for causing Silas any pain when all he had done for me was bring me happiness.

"It's not your fault.", he brokenly whispered, "I'm just glad that you're not....."

I instantly drew back from his embrace in order for him to look at me.

"I'm here and I'm alive!", I told him in the most confident voice I could muster.

Silas nodded and smiled.

He then called a doctor to make sure that I was okay and when an elderly man with white hair confirmed that there was nothing wrong with me, I was good to go.

The doctor had seemed surprised that I was awake, so I asked Silas, "How long have I been here?"

He sighed and rubbed a hand over his face. "Two days."

My eyes widened, because being at Daria's just seemed like a few minutes ago. And then another thing struck me.
