Sia suddenly rose from her seat and exited my room only to come back with heavy books. She gave me one and took one for herself.

"Maybe we find something here.", she explained to me already searching for the mountain range in her book.

I nodded my head, but was also a bit disappointed that Sia had apparently not recognized the mountain range as something she had seen in Daria's past.

I had no idea how long we had been checking the books for any resemblance to my drawing, but I felt myself growing tired and my eyes falling close.

I found myself in a forest when I suddenly heard voices from behind me. I whirled around and saw a woman and a girl not older than seven walking towards me.

They both were covered in dark blue cloakes and I was barely able to see their faces.

"Hello, I..", I started to greet them when they just continued walking. Confused I watched them walking right past me. Could they not see me?

Suddenly the woman stopped, glanced behind her and started to run into the forest. The girl did not question her just followed her into the woods. I felt my heart pick up its speed, was there some kind of danger?

Something inside me pushed me to follow them and I found them in front of a waterfall again. I could not concentrate on its beauty, because the woman seemed anxious.

"You know the drill Daria, get behind the waterfall and wait for me to get you.", the woman whispered to Daria and pushed her in the direction she wanted her to go.

My eyes widened as I heard the name of the little girl and I walked closer to the couple. Apparently they could not see or feel me as I bent down to look the little girl into her eyes. Her eyes were the palest green I had ever seen. I gasped finally realizing that this was a memory from Daria's childhood.

"But I hate the snow.", Daria whispered back anxiously and my eyes widened again. Could it be that behind the waterfall was the cottage I had met Daria in?

"I know you do but..."

Suddenly the girl and the woman were gone and I heard Silas' voice.

"What is she doing here?"

Confused I opened my eyes and saw Milena and Silas in my room. Sia had fallen asleep as well and I gently shook her awake.

"Behind the waterfall.", Sia murmed before she yawned and rose from her sleeping position.

Wide eyed I looked at her. Did she have the same dream?

Surprised Noah's hazel eyes looked into mine and the sadness I saw in them made me pull him close to my chest. "But I promise you I'll come back!"

He snuggled closer to me and said, "Pinky promise?"

I nodded my head and extended my pinky.

After some time I felt Noah falling asleep, but there was still an important question I needed to ask him.

"Where's Faith's mate Noah?"

I had wondered about her mate after my first time having dinner here. At first I thought nothing of it, as he could be a pack warrior and on duty that night, but after all the time I had spent here and he still had not showed up I questioned his existance. It was incredible rare for a werewolf to not have found his or her mate at Faith's age, but possible. I never had the guts to ask her herself, because something inside of me was telling me that the mate topic was a touchy subject. So cowardly I decided to ask Noah. He was almost asleep so I hoped he would not remember in the morning.

"Dead.", Noah whispered back and shortly after that I heard him snoring.

I blinked back tears, because I could not believe it. Faith appeared so strong, kind hearted and cheery that I would have never thought that something this horrible had happened to her. I felt like a hypocrite because I definitely should know all about not telling anyone about how you really feel and showing them a smile when in reality you felt like dieing.
