Silas' hand disappeared from my shoulder and he kneeled in front of me. His blue eyes seemed darker than I had ever seen them before.

With determination in his voice Silas told me, "I'm doing it for you!"

Hearing his words should make me feel frightened, not only because Silas would fight against our father until one of them died, but also because some part inside of me longed for my father's death. This part wanted retaliation not only for Nathan, but also for me.

Calm suddenly washed over me and I nodded my head at Silas, telling him I understood his reasons.

His brooding eyes locked with my own once more, before Silas stood up and joined the others where Daria was showing them where she had left Nathan.

Silas made it look so easy, but I was still frozen in place. How could Levin still stand being in a room with Silas and me, when he now knew that our father had destroyed his brother's life and in the course of Nathan's kidnapping also his life.

What would Nathan think about me when he would learn that my father had been the reason he had to grow up without his family and pack? He would hate me...

I squeezed my eyes close not being able to stand the pain my thoughts caused me any longer.

It was not fair!

Once again my father had destroyed another hope of mine.

"What's wrong?" Levin's concerned voice made me open my eyes again and I quickly checked if the others were aware of my mental breakdown too.

They were all still gathered around Daria and I breathed a sigh of relief.

I locked eyes with Levin's hazel ones and searched them for any anger. When I could not find any I blurted out, "Why don't you hate me?"

Levin's face clearly showed his surprise and before he could ask me why I thought that I explained it to him. "My father is the reason why you had to experience pain and loss at such a young age. My father is the reason why you had to grow up without a big brother. My father is the reason...."

Levin's finger on my lips stopped my rambling and now I could clearly see the anger in his eyes.

My eyes welled over with tears once more, because I knew that this was the moment Levin realized that I was right.

"It's all true, but you're not your father Sophia!"

Gently he wiped my tears away and spoke in an even softer voice, "I could never hate you for what your father did Sophia, not when I know that you're completely his opposite."

A sob rose from my lips, because never have I heard anything better.

"And Nathan's going to love you either way Sophia, I just know it."

"You really think that?", I asked him in a broken voice. It would kill me if Nathan rejected me because of my father, but I would understand it too. How could you love someone when you knew that her father was the reason for everything that went wrong in your life?

"Really?"

I chuckled when Sia was jumping from one foot to the other.

"Wait! You can't stay here!", Oliver interrupted Sia's dancing.

"Why not, Daria just said I could.", Sia defended her actions. Her blue eyes blazing fire at her brother.

"You have obligations back home.", he tried to reason with her but Sia would not have it.

"Oh you mean standing in the shadow of the other witches, not learning anything because they can't seem to give me more than one try?"

Oliver's eyes had widened and I realized that he had not been aware of Sia's troubles back home as well.

"I think it would be good for Sia to stay here.", I thought out loud and now everyone's gaze was set on me. I gulped. How did I find myself in these situations more often nowadays?

I shook my head, because this was not about me, it was about Sia and her happiness.

"She really wants to learn from Daria, it would make her happy and who are we to deny Sia this happiness?", I questioned everyone and saw Oliver's cheek flush a bit.
