"Thank you child!", Daria expressed her gratitude and I looked astonished into both her pale green eyes.

However, her face morphed into a concerned one when she said, "You should sit down for what I'm going to tell you."

Instantly I followed suit, because I knew that whatever Daria was going to tell us would change my world.

My heart was beating a tattoo inside my chest and I could feel my breathing become irregular as I waited tensely for Daria's next words.

The others had followed suit, taking a seat somewhere, except of Silas who placed a hand on my shoulder.

I smiled gratefully at him, already breathing in a regular pattern again, and he squeezed my shoulder. Something passed between us and I realized that Daria's next words would not only change my world, but Silas' as well.

"As you can see I was without magic for more than twenty years, because someone had stolen my eyeball. He would have destroyed it, but I begged him to let me live as I knew I could still be useful to others. He probably saw it as leverage so he made me promise to disappear and to never tell a single soul about what I had done. If I would violate his rules he would destroy my eyeball and I would have no chance of ever being magic again."

I could see how hard this occurrence weighed on Daria and felt my eyes gloss over with tears. She did not have to tell me who he was, I knew it was my father. What had he done?

"As you probably already know I had a vision about Nathan being one of the greatest Alpha's of all time. I thought it wise at that time to let the Crescent Moon Alpha know about his son's fate in order to prepare him for his role, but as it turned out it was the worst decision I had ever made."

Daria looked directly into Silas eyes when she told us, "Hector was clever, so very clever and I was too arrogant to even think about him being able to use me. I thought I was too powerful that nobody could defeat me, but Hector could."

Sila's hand on my shoulder tightened and I placed mine on top of his.

My eyes locked with Daria's when she said, "It's a few hours from here, I can show you."

Just a few hours from here.

Levin instantly followed Daria with Oliver hot on his heels.

I desperately wanted to join them, but I just could not. I was frozen in place, because I now realized that my own father was exactly as horrible as I had always thought him to be. Having it confirmed did not make it any easier, it made it even harder.

I could feel Silas feelings mix with my own and before I could think about my next sentence I whispered, "You're going to kill him."
