Since then my wolf had seemed closer to me again, letting me believe that she indeed was our mate. I only had to find her now.

Naja and Jeremy had supported me every step of the way and had not laughed once about every discovery I had made, even when I had told them about my dream woman possibly being my destined soulmate. Naja had pushed me to find her and because I had rarely taken any holiday since I had started at Jeremy's company he had granted me a month of paid holiday.

A month. Meaning I could search for her. Just the thought filled me with happiness and had my wolf yipping joyously in my mind. This was definitely the right choice.

I had just returned from a run in wolf form and I still felt restless, but I knew only she could cure me from all that felt wrong.

I saw Naja's car parked outside my house and hurried inside.

"Uncle Nate.", Max instantly shouted happily when he saw me entering the living room.

He rushed towards me and I chuckled lowly knowing exactly that I was going to miss this little dude. I pulled him into my arms and lifted him up.

Even though I was not really related to Max it was uncanny how much we looked alike. He had dark brown almost black hair and except of his forest green eyes, who he had inherited from Naja, he could be my son.

"Mommy said you have to leave tomorrow to get something.", Max told me, asking for confirmation.

I looked at Naja who sat on my couch and tried to explain it to him, "Your mommy is right, I'm looking for someone."

"Someone you know?"

I sighed, because I had dreamt about her so often that it almost seemed like I knew her, but I had never met her in person before so how well could I really know her?

"Not really.", I finally responded and could see how confused my answer made Max as his nose pulled up a little.

"You know sometimes we wish for something so much that in our dreams it becomes reality.", I tried to explain it to my nephew and saw him nodding .

"I dreamt about someone for quite sometime and now I need to find her."

Questioningly I looked at Naja, but she just shrugged her shoulders having no idea herself how to explain it to Max better. Max did not know that I was a wolf yet, so there was no way telling him that my dream woman was maybe my destiny.

Exasperated I threw my hands in the air. "I could smell her foul perfume the whole day."

"Or the one time you stood up your date, because one look at her and you decided there was no chemistry between you."

Annoyed I looked at her. "She wore fur Naja, and not only that but it was the middle of the summer."

Naja rolled her eyes and continued her assault, "Or the one time..."

"Enough!", I told her and because I wanted her to shut up for good I took her gently by her waist and lifted her up. I had done this countles times when we had been kids. Each time Naja would annoy me I woud just pick her up and carry her out of my room.

She laughed remembering those times too, but this time I did not stop in the hallway, but I marched right outside my house. A smile appeared on my lips, this would shut her up for good.

Just when I was exiting I noticed several people standing a couple of feet away. I froze quickly deciding in my head if they where a threat or not when me eyes locked with the most gorgeous blue eyes I had ever seen. Wait I had actually seen them before.
