During my time in the Full Moon pack I had thought a lot about Nathan, every moment it had felt, and I had wondered about his experience with women. I knew that in the werewolf world you usually saved yourself for your mate, but I had known from Dr. Clairence that in the human world life was different. Just the thought of Nathan with someone else had made me unbelievably jealous, but I had also known that there was a big possibility that he had already slept with someone else. And because he had been brought up in the human world and could not had been aware about the customs in the werewolf world I could not hold it against him. However, I needed someone who had experience in this topic to decide if I as a virgin should be worried about Nathan's possible experiences or not.

So yesterday I had mustered up all my courage and had asked Kellan about it. He as a witcher did not necessary have a mate so I had been sure that Kellan had experience. Kellan had instantly noticed that I had been embarrassed and had smirkingly said, "Spit it out."

I had taken a deep breath and did just that. "I...I was just worried about Nathan being sexually experienced and me...not."

Kellan's eyes had widened and sheepishly he had rubbed the back of his neck.

"You don't have to worry about that Sophia! If you trust Nathan enough to gift him with your virginity he would be stupid not to cherish that!", he had finally said and I could see the sincerity in his voice.

"Furthermore it's fun to discover together what you like and what you don't. Nobody gets it right the first time."

His words had eased my worries greatly.

The junction to the orphanage brought me back to the present and I asked Kellan if he could take a right turn here.

He looked questioningly at me, but followed my request. When Kellan noticed the kids playing in the garden I knew he understood.

"Could you please tell him to meet me here? I...All the others....", I tried to word my biggest worry.

Kellan gently patted my leg and said, "I get it Sophia!"

Spontaneously I leaned in to hug Kellan and he instantly returned the embrace. Kellan was right, he just got me. I did not have to say it out loud that I was scared out of my mind that Nathan's and my second encounter would turn out horrible too and that I did not want the others there, as much as I loved them, to witness another painful moment of mine.

"Thank you for saving me again and again."

I felt him chuckle and smilingy drew back.

"Sophia!", I heard the kids scream from outside as they discovered that it was me in the car. I smiled at them, feeling myself getting teary eyed, because I had missed them so much.

Quickly I exited the car and found myself hugged by the children. Their love and joy was so pure that for a moment I could completely relax.

I remembered Noah's and my conversation about Faith's dead mate and hurried to tell her, "I'm here to give Nathan and me a chance Faith!"

I saw her eyes soften and a smile spread on her lips.

"I'm sorry for what happened to you!", I gently told her and noticed how Faith squeezed her eyes shut as if she could not stand to hear those words. Quickly I wanted to apologize, but she responded, "Thanky you Sophia!"

There was a small smile on her lips now, but her eyes were still full of sadness. I could hear the kids yelling for me, but I did not want to leave Faith alone.

"Go to them, I'm okay!", she said softly after she realized I was not moving.

I checked once more if Faith was really okay, but when she laughed and pushed me gently into the direction of the kids, I left.

When I turned around again, I saw Faith hugging herself as if she would fall to pieces if she let go and my heart went out to her, because I had felt exactly the same a few days ago.
