Soon Nathan joined me in bed once more and pulled me to him. His arms around me felt like a safety blanket and I soon feel asleep, but not before hearing Nathan tell me, "I love you little mate."

This was the first time in my life where no nightmares plagued me during the night and where I felt rested when I woke up.

The heat from my mate engulfed me and giddy with joy I discovered that Nathan had only come closer during the night. A feeling I could only describe as pure happiness washed through me when I realized that Nathan and everything that had happened yesterday had not been a dream.

His legs were entwined with my own, while his one arm was protectively wrapped around me and the other arm served as my pillow.

Nathan was still asleep and that gave me the time to watch his handsome face. Gently my fingers traced his forehead where even in his sleep wrinkles had formed, but with my touch they vanished and his whole face relaxed. His eyes were of course still closed but despite missing his intense scotch coloured eyes I marvelled at the beauty of his sleeping face.

His three-day stubble made him look even more attractive and I softly giggled when my fingers traced over it.

My eyes then locked on Nathan's lips and I slowly closed the distance between us so that my lips gently touched his. I only meant for it to be a peck, but Nathan had other ideas when he responded instantly to my touch.

I was suprised by his immediate reaction, thinking that Nathan had to have been awake the whole time, but I could not find it in me to care, because Nathan kissed me with a hunger I was more than willing to sate.

When I started to get dizzy, because of the lack of air Nathan drew back and huskily whispered, "Good morning mate."

I giggled overjoyed with everything that I nuzzled his neck and told him, "That was the best sleep I had in forever."

I felt more than saw Nathan's satisfied smile and my heart started to accelerate when he responded, "For me too."

Smiling like a fool I then started to pepper Nathan's neck with kisses. I had no idea where all this bravery was coming from, but I was enjoying it and if Nathan's groans were any indication he was enjoying it too.

However, when Nathan's hand glided over my back in order to push me closer to him I froze.

My scars.

Yesterday Nathan had not seen them, but today he would. I squeezed my eyes shut thinking about a solution to my problem.

Of course, Nathan instantly noticed that something was wrong and cupped my head in his hands.

"God, I love your blush." With that Nathan's lips were on mine once more and we both groaned when we heard Levin telling us through the mindlink that we should hurry.

"One of these days I'm going to get even with him." Nathan then got out of bed and put on some pants while I shamelessly oggled him.

"If you don't stop looking at me like that we'll never get out of this room.", he told me smirkingly and I blushed.

He kissed me once more and while caressing my cheek Nathan said, "I love that you seem as effected by my body as I'm with yours."

Then he hurried out the door and happily I let mysef fall on the mattress again before I finally got up and made my way to the bathroom.

I almost did not recognize the vibrant looking girl in the mirror and I made a promise to myself that I would do anything to remain this happy.

I quickly took a shower, brushed my teeth and when I returned to the bedroom once more I saw that Milena had placed an outfit on the bed yet again. I smilingly shook my head, because one of these days I had to tell her that I was perfectly capable to chose what clothes I was going to wear myself. However, today I was grateful as it saved time and I had to admit that the jeans and the simple white tshirt were a look I had also chosen myself.
