Since Nathan had marked me I felt even more attracted and in tune with him. The tingles when he was touching me now where even more intense than they had been before and I craved his touch and attention more than my next breath.
At first these new sensations had made me feel a bit uncomfortable, because I had been overwhelmed at how addicted I had become to Nathan, but I had soon realized that it had not been different to Nathan. He had embraced these new sensations and feelings so I had decided to be brave as well.
I had wondered why I struggled to accept all these new feelings, but luckily Nathan had known what was bothering me and had addressed the issue. I had had no idea where to start as I had not wanted to hurt Nathan's feelings, but when he had told me that I could tell him anything I had given in and confided my struggles in him. Fortunately, Nathan had not been bothered by my concerns, on the contrary, he had made me see that it was and should be normal for me to have apprehension as my parents had exploited their "bond" with me. Everything had then made much more sense and it had been easy for me the accept all these new sensations and feelings, because I just knew it in my gut that Nathan would never hurt me intentionally.
I sighed taking one last look at the cottage, treassuring all the memories I had made here, all the laughter, all the deep talks that had shown me that Nathan really was my soul mate, all the times spent in front of the fire place or on the porch looking at the ocean and all the times Nathan had showed me again and again how much he loved me.
"I promise you, baby, we'll come back."
I turned around in Nathan's arms, so that I could look him directly into his beautiful scotch coloures eyes and responded, "I'm going to miss the cottage, but everything that made it so special I'm taking with me."
Nathan's eyes darkened and his lips drew into a soft smile. "Have I told you today, how much I love you?"
I giggled delighted and kissed his soft lips. "I'll neer grow tired of hearing you say that."
I pecked his lips once more, before I drew back, took one last look at the cottage and got in the car.
I nodded my head at him, feeling his love for me over the bond and letting it soothe me as I thought about what would await us at home. Another reason why I was reluctant to get home was the conversation I knew I had to have with Silas concerning his plan.
I knew from Nathan that he had no idea himself, but that he was as curious as I was about Silas' and Milena's future.
After several hours we finally arrived at home and I felt myself becoming shy again, when the others all gushed about my and Nathan's mark. Nathan presented my mark proudly and looked possessively at me when I pulled my hair into a ponytail in order to show the others my mark.
Levke and Lennart were delighted and started to prepare us for the mating ceremony this evening. As it was custom I could not see Nathan until the ceremony, which put a significant damper on my mood. In a short time Nathan had become the most important person in my life and I could not even imagine being away from him for a few hours.
