The Rejected Phoenix novel Chapter 11

Chapter eleven.

Subtitle : dangerous  phoenix.

     ** Melanie's POV **

I sighed as I explained to alpha Cole what happened to me.

"those fools humiliated and hated me.  I didn't do anything wrong.  Was it my fault that i was weak at that time?  Was it my fault that I was mated to the damn  fool of a king? Anytime I think of the pains they've caused me I just want to make them pay.

And if I should ever come across the lady my mate rejected me for I won't just kill her normally like Charlie did. 

I'll chop off her body to pieces and roast them into ashes.

This anger string has already being pulled and I want nothing to do with them anymore!"

My voice quivered  as I spoke.

One could tell from afar that I was really angry and i was not in my right senses of mind.

My anger was betraying me.

"Ryker and I have being friends since middle school.  Me him and Jaxon  attended the same university  and graduated  recently before we both returned home to take our respectful places in our packs.

He is a really nice person and why he did that to you was because you were weak.  He hated weakness and ugly girls.

But I don't see any ugly girl in you now so I don't know if he's blinded by his love for Tammy  or something "

Cole muttered.

I snappedy head towards him with full speed.

He seemed to have gotten what I was curious about due to my reaction and didn't Wait for me to ask before he hurriedly said.

"Tammy is his childhood sweetheart.  He loves the girl who was the only one who could beat him in combats so much that nothing could seperate them even in school.

He promised her the position  of the Luna.

I mean I thought he was kidding not until I heard you just now.

He was really serious about marrying her.

His invitation for me to attend his marking ceremony just arrived now."

He itched his head as soon as he completed his words.

"so her name's Tammy. "

I smirked.

"that dork dareS to humiliate for a girl named Tammy.

Even Jaxon  hated me his own sister just so he could suport his friend. "

I muttered shakingy head.

I hard an angry and perplexed expression on.

"your Jaxons little sister?  It seems there's a lot about you that I still don't know phoenix.. "

Cole was amused.

"put me up on the list of the fighters going over to the crescent moon pack for the training.

I need to destroy some ceremony. "

I muttered looking at him intensely.

"have you forgotten our agreement.  You are to guard this pack and not let harm come to it.

How will you do that when your busy attending some rubbish training which you don't need in a neighboring pack?

Are you suddenly going back on your words phoenix? "

Cole was looking angry.

"just do as I say and put me up.

I have a very high ability to teleport.  So it won't be a problem as long as I am notified of the situation immediately  anything happens.

Besides,am  not even educated in sword fighting  yet.   I need some improvement first,

And don't forget to put charlie up also,I'll need her company. "

I ordered and he sighed.

"okay.

As long as you keep to your promise I won't stop you from taking your revenge on your former pack.

But don't let your quest for revenge get to your head first. "

Cole warned.

"I need to check something in my castle first.

Send someone to tell me the details  about our departure. "

I muttered and stood up before leaving.

As I flew besides Latisha back to my old desert i could sense and unfamiliar  presence.

Although the. Air was cloudy and cold there was a strange presence I could fathom.

"can you zoom in for me to see what we've got Latisha? "

I asked her.

She nodded and in a matter of seconds my eyesight was already connected to hers.

What I saw made my blood boil terribly bad.

I could see more than ten  men in black patrolling  the outer grounds of my deserts.

They had the uniform of my former pack.

"how dare they!"

Latisha snapped.
