The Rejected Phoenix novel Chapter 15

Chapter fifteen.

Subtitle: a dead wish.

*** General POV ***

"so your saying your own kid sister, the one who ran away is actually the Phoenix princess who was awaken.

And she is responsible for the dead of the men we send to guard the deserts earlier? "

Alpha Ryker asked with a succulent voice.

He was baffled and confused at the same time.

"exactly.  That's what I meant, my sister Melanie is the Phoenix princess.  And she doesn't look anything like her old self.

The girl right now is kinky, rude, fierce and all sort of nasty things you wouldn't think of.

Do you know she almost roast my step sisters palms an hour ago.

And I was told she left with mother no, she flew away with mother.

Apparently,my kid sister has turned into a red fire beast that could fly, breath out and emit fire, and also kill without permission.

I'm the must confused one here... "

Jaxon explained haphazardly as he ruffled his hair.

"I still don't get what you mean.  Are you talking about the juneosque sister whom I rejected the other time.

You've got to be kidding me that kid is weak. "

Ryker snapped and hissed.

He too was confused since Jaxon  kept beating around the bush.

Both Jaxon and Cole  looked at Ryker when they heard him mention the word 'weak'

Cole leaned over and picked up a tennis ball from the table.

"who are you calling  weak man? The Phoenix princess.

Hahahaha! You've got to be kidding me.

That lady you call weak and shapeless is actually a lady you would strive hard to get on your bed.

If she wasn't that poker then I would have think of that too but I wouldn't want to offend her you know.

She may end up bringing down the rest of my pack members which I've being working hard to keep together and alive.

She's dangerous man. "

Cole cooed and tossed the ball up before  catching it in mid air.

Ryker scoffed and took a gulp from the bottle of beer he had in his left hands.

"both of you are out of you minds.. "

Alpha Ryker muttered.

Just then Charlie  came running right into the court panting heavily.

It was obvious she had ran a Long distance.

She stopped right in front of them and clutched at her knees as she pant hard.

"sorry to interrupt  your highnesses.

But we've got a big situation. "

She said.

All three pairs of eyes stared at her with curiosity.

"the Phoenix princess...  I mean Melanie.."

She was cut short by Cole.

"what happened to the princess? "

Cole snapped.

"she's having a huge fight. A very huge fight with a blue haired lady..  If no one stops them I think there will be bloodshed. "

She explained.

"she's having a fight with Tammy? "

Alpha Ryker asked and stood up from his chair.

He knew how powerful Tammy  is.

She is the very first wolf to ever defeat him in a combat and if nothing Is done quick things may not end well between her and Melanie.

Melanie may end up dead...

Within seconds he's already dashed out of the court as the other two men followed along closely behind him.

They were literally  running as they went.

    *** Melanie's  POV***

As soon as I approached  the room in which mom was laid before i came face to face with my mother who was at the door.

I was shocked beyond word.

She was walking!

My mom was literally  walking!

I thought I was hallucinating  and pinched  myself hard in the cheek to check but it was real.

Even she too had a confused look on.

I walked towards her slowly staring at her face.

"mother.....  What's going on?  How come you can walk? "

I asked her baffled.

The man yelped in total pains and fell to the ground clutching his leg in his hands.

The long sword which was sticked to his leg was drowned out forcefully by Tammy and this caused another yell from the man.

Blood oozed out from the large wound in extreme and covered the grass around him.

This was pure bully!

How could she just cut off a man's  leg like this when it's just a training or rather a friendly match between them.

I was annoyed and literally  burning with anger.

"who else got something to say.  Or are you all cowards who cant fight a lady? "

She snapped looking at them one by one.

The men all have an annoyed look on their faces and I knew it won't be long untill one of them will volunteer to fight her.

And then she'll just slaughter him again like a cow.

Which did happened.

The next man ended up getting a really bad dislocation in his right arm.

It was turned to the extreme that it cracked beyond repair.

"enough! "

I didn't know when I snapped and stepped forward.

Tammy looked at me with a surprise face yet she smirked with a side smile.

"even men couldn't beat me what can you a mere lady do.  Go home and help mom in the kitchen. "

She smirked.

I chuckled evilly at her.

"this so pure bullying.

Is this what your pack meant when they said we would get a friendly welcome from you guys?

Is this the training they were talking about.

These men here don't do a thing wrong.  They just wanted to protect their mates and family from a tribulation  but what did you do to them?

You sliced them off like pieces of meat.

How dare you use them as your anger reliver?"

I snapped angrily and took a sword form the ground next to me angrily as I approached her.

I swing my sword straight down her shoulders which was unexpected as it hit harder and grazed her shoulders a little because she managed to escape.

She looked at me with a impulsive face.

"do you want a dead wish? "

She snapped her eyes turning black as she shifted to her wolf form.
