***Alpha Ryker's POV**

It's being three weeks.

Three f*cking weeks since the star zeal pack was ambushed and destroyed.

Three weeks since Cole disappeared with my mate and never returned with her.

Although he did come back but he was alone and was injured.

Three weeks since I last saw her.

Three weeks of Restllessness and three weeks of being ignored by Zack.

It was a torment that I knew I couldn't pass.

** your really cold Ryker. She's your mate no matter what.

Even if you don't want to see or talk to her you still owe her a lot.

She is missing but you couldn't care less.

You went ahead to go through with a wedding wand marked a lady who isn't your mate.

You betrayed her and just earned one more enemy to yourself and that is me.

You may think you have a Luna on your throne but what you have e is a weak lady who isn't and does not deserve the title.

I don't know if she's alive but I will search for her and find her whether she is alive or death.

And you will have to pay for it.

Cole's words echoed in my brain for the umpteenth time and I gnashed my teeth and ruffled it in annoyance.

I hated to admit that it was my fault that she was in danger.

She may be dead and it was my fault.

I married and marked Tammy.

Yes I did.

I can clearly remember it that both Cole and Melanie were both missing.

I didn't care.

I went ahead to mate with her.

I lost three most important people I had.

I lost a friend.

I lost beta and a brother.

And I lost a mate.

They all sure hated me now and are already gone to find Melanie.

I was the only one left to wallow in my self pity.

It was slowly eating me up deeply but I don't show it.

The cigarette i had in my hands had long eaten out but I was still in a trance.

I knew for sure that if I don't act on it and go find Melanie then I may end up loosingy sanity.

"Zack please say something... Should I go find her?"

I asked Zack hoping he would talk to me.

"you better do..  Go find her now.  I want my mate! "

He snapped at me.

I smiled.

At least he talked to me this once and didn't ignore me.

It was a good thing that he softened upnwhen I talked about Melanie.

I couldn't concentrate anymore.

I groaned and made to stand up when the door opened and Tammy came in.

She walked up to me with a worried look on her face and bend to my level before cuppingy cheeks in her palm.

"what's wrong with you babe?  You've being behaving different  for the past three weeks.  I know your friend and beta blame you for her lost but it wasn't you fault. 

You already reject her so why put the blame on you.

She went on her own to fight for alpha Cole's Pack but I don't understand why you are to blame.

It's not your fucking fault."

She was speaking in a loud voice in a bit to calm me but all I could see and think of was that she was. Actually directing her hatred towards Melanie.

"get the fuck out of my sight Tammy.  I want to be alone.. "

I groaned and stood up.

"where are you going? "

She asked in a worried and pained voice.

I stood in my track and glanced back at her.

"am going to find her before I loose my mind! "

I snapped and took to the door.

She rushed towards me and held my arms trying to holdw back from leaving.

"let go of me! "

I growled.

"no!  I'm your mate! It's unfair when you only think of her when I bare your mark.  You claim you love me Rye! Why are you hurting me now? "

She cried out and tugged at my hands.

I ruffled my hair and tried loosing myyself from her grip the easy way.

If she doesn't let me go then I am ends up hurting her.

"she's not my mate!  I want my mate!! "

Zack snapped at me angrily.

"let me go this instant! "

I added to my speed towards the house and stood besides the tree before jumping up the tree. And walking towards the window using the branches to get a better listening to what whosoever was inside was discussing.

Since I knew I wasn't welcomed at all.

"yes. .. My beta told me that two strange healers took away the unconscious body of the Phoenix."

I heard alpha Cole  talk to someone who I don't know.

"why the f*ck did you let them take her?  Are you insane?  Do you even know them? "

I heard Jaxon's voice growled at the other person which I presumed was Cole.

He was with Cole?

"I'm sorry alpha.  We were all injured when the two ladies came.

They helped treat our wounds and took the Phoenix with them.  They may be strangers but I have a feeling they won't hurt her. "

The other voice which seemed to be that of alpha Cole's beta answered Cole.

"you shut the f*ck up!  Pray nothing happens  to my sister or your dead! "

Jaxon's voice was a low growl as he spoke.

I heard the beta growl  also to prove he is not intimidated by Jaxon.

"that bastard better not show his face to me again.  We start the search for her again tomorrow. This time we are going as far as the the human world.  We would have to take a plan to move around. Our first bus stop will be Asia"

I heard Cole's voice again and I knew I was the one being called bastard.

Without leaving a trace or making any sound I turned around,jumped off the tree and started running away.

I wont rest without finding  her.

What type of a mate would she call me if Cole finds her first.

"that bastard alpha better not like my mate or he's dead meat! "

I heard Zack snap and I knew he was talking about Cole.

"even I have a feeling he likes her.  I hope she doesn't like him back! "

I answered Zack.

"well it's all your fault fool..."

He hissed and muttered.

I could tell he was hurt from all the decisions I've made since we shifted.

I haven't made him happy for once.

I suddenly wished I didn't reject her.

I suddenly wished I didn't hurt her.

But I had already gone over board and even married another woman when she's still breathing.

And worse I have marked and mated with with the woman who isn't her.

I felt stupid.

"I will do all I can to find her and make sure she forgives me Zack.  I promise you this."

I muttered and continued running towards the pack border.
